I was actually told by one of the directors of our agency that Spain had bumped Canada down to third. So, my guess would be that the numbers we are hearing about Spain are distorted as this person is an extremely reliable source. From what I'm told, the UK doesn't do enough to slow anything down. And I have numbers for several other European countries and their numbers range from an average of around 10 per month to around 25 or 30 per month. Australia also doesn't appear to do enough to slow anything down. I don't have any official Canadian numbers. I do have numbers for two Canadian agencies, but that doesn't tell me anything about the total for the country. Does anyone know where we can get some official numbers for Canada? Really it’s difficult to compile exhaustive information relative to Spain.
