Bill Jenkins of East Tennessee - canned letter, in its entirety: "August 8, 2006... Thank you for contacting me in support of H.R 5888, the 'Helping Families Adopt Orphans Act,' introduced by Representative Heather Wilson of New Mexico. This legislation would extend the validity of the I-171H form to at least two years. The bill has been referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary, of which I am a member. I appreciate having the benefit of your views on this matter and will keep them in mind as this bill moves through the legislative process. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of further assistance in any way." He is leaving office at the end of this term, so probably won't even cast a vote in Committee. Frustrating... Tried to send one to Congressman Dodd but he dosn't accept emails. I'm glad I didn't vote for him. Shays was helpfull when we were waiting for the Ct Dept of Family Services to complete our back groud check in 04. Shortly after his reply we were cleared. We just started our new paper chase 2 days ago for a little sister. WOW have things changed. We were LID 4/2/04 Referral 10/28/04 traveled Thanksgiving Day For our first daughter.
