Our LID was 7/11/05. I just picked up our referral in a sealed envelope at 1pm after receiving the call this morning at 10am. My wife is at home sitting on pins and needles waiting for me to come home from work this evening so we can open the envelope together in front of a video camera. Our coordinator is actually in China right now so we don't have a translation of the referral, but should be getting it via e-mail shortly. I have several Chinese speaking employees so I can get some help from them if necessary. Based on our final orientation, our coordinator expects us to be in Chongqing on 9/17 and have an appointment with the US Consulate on 9/25. This assumes she can get this date once she sends the signed referrals back and if TAs arrive in 3 weeks. The Consulate schedules appointments only Monday thru Thursday.
