Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

Heather Wilson introduced a bill to help us with the I-171H. You can read the details here.
We all need to get our Representatives behind this. You can email your representatives from this link: http://www.house.gov/writerep/
Something to the effect of:

Do they have a plan?

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

I think that we’ll all agree that things at least seem to be out of control at the CCAA this year. Since January they have done 11, 18, 12, 5, 7, 9, 13, and now 15 days per referral batch. Considering that until October of last year they had averaged about a month per month [...]

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

One of the big European agencies has stated that referrals were mailed Wednesday, cut-off 7/13.
This is about as official as you can get without seeing it on the CCAA’s site.
Congratulations to those who are finally about to see your baby’s face for the first time!
To the rest of us, it’s too early to drink… maybe [...]

The morning rounds

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

The CCAA site is unchanged. There are reports that it was down for over an hour somewhere between 2:30 and 4:00 (Eastern), but when it came back up there was no change.
There are two posts on one of the European boards.

One says that the person who needs to sign off on the referrals is off [...]
