Getting ready to get the rotel going, pop some popcorn, turn the t.v. on to keep awake, and catch the new episode of “Desperate Housewives”, too… and keep an eagle’s eye on the CCAA website… and of course, right here, too…. i have a sneaky suspicion though that the ccaa KNOWS we are lurking and so they will hold off until tomorrow evening (tues morning their time) to update it…. ergh! okay, maybe not….

I too was wondering if they would wait until late in the day to update since they know the agencies won’t be open for 12 hours (or at least 4 hours in Europe).

I’m on the west coast of Australia - same timezone as China….will have the CCAA site up while at work today(now)…..if only there was a way to send a message to alert all of you if the CCAA does post so that you can snooze….we need a cyber alarm…

This is great! It’s like referral ‘labor’ without having to go to the hospital! Hope lots of you hear good news tomorrow! I’m LID 10/11/05, so I won’t be joining the party tonight.
I love this site RQ! This is my first posting, but I’ve been reading for a month and can’t tell you how grateful I am to feel a connection to other people going through the same roller coaster of an experience. Thank you!

We are LID on 10/10 so we are right with you!!! I will check the CCAA’s site for a while, but I, too think it will be a while before they update. Maybe we will meet up at the White Swan in China one day!! :-)

i noticed on the t.v. the field where the Bronco’s and the Patriot’s are playing… and on the top part of the field there is a big ‘ol advertisement that says “China Bowl” - how coincidental! i told my hubby it was a sign.. ;-)

I also hadn a sign tonight. We ate Chinese take-out tonight and my fortune cookie said, ” You will have very good news soon to tell all your loved ones”. WOW! That made me wonder and happy too. Hoping for a big referral batch! J :)

is anyone else neeeeeeeervous that people are tracking the DHL package? Didn’t CCAA find out about that once before and get reeeeeally mad?

ugh I’m soooo not a night owl, nor a morning person either come to think of it. Doesn’t look like I will be up when they make the big post. (see how I said WHEN and not IF??)
Wish I knew what you called folks like me who like to get up around 9am and go to bed around 10pm. Boring maybe? :-)

Yes violet, I would be very nervous if people were calling DHL to find out the tracking number.
But a couple of agencies have given their clients the tracking number. The agencies can legally call and get the tracking number, and they can then share it with whoever they want.
What I’m talking about is the people who legitimately have the tracking info from their agency. I do not want any information on the site about people who are calling DHL to get the tracking number. The CCAA has blown a gasket about that in the past, and we don’t want to make them angry.

So its about 10 am in China??? Any idea if the website should have changed by now? Do they usually wait for the package to arrive?

There is no “usual”. It could be anytime. Or, they may wait until after referrals are already here again.
Trying to guess what they will do is impossible.

i wuz just commenting to dh that i’ve noticed in the past, the website is updated long after referrals are handed out… pooey on that. has there been an instance where it was actually updated b/4 we found out the cut-off date??

It’s about 10:15 p.m. Ohio time. Does that mean that it’s about 10:15 a.m. China time (Monday)? When does CCAA usually post. We have a LID of 8-17-05, but I’m new to this site (I’ve been viewing for about 3 weeks), but this is the first time I’ve posted.

This truly is torture. I’m in Tokyo, so it is 11am here. While most of you get to sleep (or at least try) I will be up obsessing for the entire day!!!
If calls do go out, I won’t be getting mine until around midnight my time, so by then I shall truly be a basket case!!
Going out now for a really big donut in order to pass the time. Perhaps going into sugar shock will help in some small way…

Drove back a day early from Cali to WA, just got home. We wanted to be home just in case there was good news on the referrals tomorrow! Happy you guys are having a cyber slumber party again….hoping the CCAA supplies the entertainment with an update on referrals!

This is my first post and since I am eagerly awaiting for the CCAA to change the date I thought I would join in the discussion. My LID is 12/5/05 and I believe I am with a large agency from the south of the USA. I live in Denver Colorado and have been watching this site for a couple of months now. My heart has been broken and mended with the news from this site and I appreciate all that you do RQ. Thanks for finally speaking when no one else will!

I loved slumber parties as a kid. This one is slightly different in that I can sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy reading the conversation. However, I remember the parties having a “what will happen next?” feeling, much like tonight. Except, I’m pretty sure that if I fall asleep first none of you will freeze my undies or put my hand in warm h20!

Any guesses as to why August and December were such short review months? Less Dossiers? What does anyone think that may mean for referrals when it comes to those months?

As I rejoice for all of you who just found out your referrals have arrived I am having a hard time fighting off the tears of realizing that the CCAA only did about 2.5 weeks in this batch. As a Decemberonian this wait continues to look longer and longer all the time.

Ok, this is kinda twisted, but those of you with a twisted sense of humor will appreciate this. We got home tonight to find out that my pet rabbit died while we were gone,our neighbor was pet sitting and upset about it, (but the rabbit is old and I’ve sorta been expecting it). Then right after we find out that we are getting our referral. Rabbit died and getting a baby….hhmm…
