Just for the record, NumberCruncher's math doesn't jive with mine.

Also, I would not advise doing a re-average until they hit the mid-November dates, since the end of September was a "small" period, and the first week of October has nothing at all.

And besides, my average from the other day took into account that they would get to 9/29. So this doesn't change my previous 2.3 multiplier.

numbercruncher,

It is the number of referrals in a batch that count not really the number of days. If they only got to 9/27 this time around, they aren't keeping pace with the previous months.

If the cut-off date of Sept 27 is correct, then this is great news as far as a speed-up goes. In the 33 days since the last batch of referrals, CCAA cleared off 19 days woth of LID's. Thats a ratio of 1.737 calendar days per LID, down from 2.3 a few months ago. And the moving average of the last five months has decreased for the 7th month in a row, to 2.111.

So everyone who was counting the days and then multiplying by 2.3 can now multiply by 1.737 instead. For our LID of February 7/06, the speed-up from 2.3 to 1.737 means late July/07 rather than mid-November/07 for a referral.

Our agency's update says "no matches have been made yet, we expect that CCAA will undertake matching when they return from break".

Good thing RQ has the straight info!

Can't wait to see those referrals flying in! Congrats to those who will soon be seeing pictures of your new daughter or son! And also to those who are one step closer! SOB (Thanks, RQ for reminding me what that actually stands for over here! LOL!)
