A few agencies are now saying “maybe today”. From what I’ve seen so far, I’m still betting on tomorrow, but this is out there so I’m reporting it.

I have just talked with our agency. They said that the referrals were mailed out on 1/30 and take 2-4 days to get to them (USA).

I know of an agency who reported something very similar on their website but I believe this agency’s first priority is getting info to their clients expecting a referral. Anything that goes out to folks not expecting a referral usually has a little bit of a lag built in.
I suspect, and this is a total WAG, they report that info so people will not call and ask so they can concentrate on preparing for the very imminent referrals and those PAPs.
Maybe I’m a nutjob, but I like to think at least some referrals will hit today.

I spoke with my large china only agency and they also confirmed that referras were mailed yesterday and should arrive within 2-4 days. They indicated an outside chance that they might arrive tomorrow. They receive deliveries before 11:30 mountain time.

my agency also just confirmed that they were mailed out yesterday so tomorrow looks like the day!… My agency had expected to receive a package today that they thought might be referrals… as it turns out, they were not. However, they confirmed that another package was sent to them from the CCAA yesterday….
anxiously anticipating “the call” tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bummer – I thought that agency would be getting referrals. If that package wasn’t referrals, then it definitely looks like tomorrow. But tomorrow works! I know another agency says 2-4 business days – let’s keep our fingers crossed for 2!

I’m praying for tomorrow…it’s our little girl’s Gotcha anniversary. She’s been my lucky charm ever since!
Does anyone know anything about the time of day referrals are usually received? Last time around I got the call mid-morning, but are delivery times consistent?
My small China only agency calls immediately with the most basic information (name, age, province, etc) and then translates the rest as soon as they can.

My agency said they did not know the cutoff. Our LID is 9/29/05, so I didn’t really pry to get more info. Sorry.

I just read on our agencys board that the referrals have been mailed (1/30) THE STORK IS IN THE AIR! Can you believe we about to see our sweethearts!

My lg. Col. CO agency says 2-4 bus. days. Do most others say overnight arrivals, or 2 day arrivals. I am wondering if my agency who is VERY conservative is just trying to be conservative in this estimate, just in case things get delayed. If agencies always get them 2 days after mailed, then I want to be able to tell my DH employer not to expect him Fri. (our agency take a day to translate and confirm. Does anyone know

Meg, I am sure I am with the same agency, and Yes, I do think they are being conservative with their estimates. I think they will arrive tomorrow!

meg, i would safely say they are erring on the side of caution with the 4 day possibility… our agency is on the east coast and they got them last time in 2 days! hang on! we’re almost there! what a thrill ride!!!!!!

I just wanted to wish all of you waiting a very Happy Referral Day! I can hardly beleive four weeks ago today I was getting “The Call” right about now. Today we got our TA in and I just found out!! It only gets better from here, enjoy the ride. Stacey

SN TA’s started arriving today! Our agency e-mailed that our TA is on it’s way – so hopefully tomorrow with the referrals! WoooooHoooo We’ll be in China in 4 weeks to get our son!
