I am over the moon for all of you early October LIDs. I am really hoping for the 14th (selfishly) because that gives me more hope for a referral next month. Being 10/28 we’ll be riding the edge! Glad to have lots of you with us.

Kimber and M5: I’ve been feeling like I need to throw up all morning, too. It’s my 41st birthday today and our engineer wanted to take me to lunch. I asked if I could pass today because I honestly don’t think I could hold lunch down.

sewhopeful, there are people logged in on the 15th and 16th. It’s possible the CCAA worked that weekend as part of making up for being off the first week of October.

OK, looking at the prelim results of the current poll if the 14th isn’t in, I get Oct. 26th, Nov 6th, and Nov 20th for guesses at the next cutoffs based on current numbers in the polls. If the 14th is in, I get Oct. 27th, Nov 8th, and Nov. 22-23. Not a HUGE difference in dates since there are so many days with big numbers. This is just following the numbers in the poll for those dates. I am still way off in June, but hoping to get through Oct and Nov as quickly as possible to get to some smaller months. Congrats to all of the new parents!!!

Marythefifth, Hoosierbaby and all my fellow 10/13 ers…
I have felt like puking since yesterday. I am a nervous wreck. I am so freakin’ excited, that it just hasn’t set in yet.
I am praying really hard for the 10/14 + people as well. It sucks being on the fence. Too much excitement for this old gal!! ;-)
For everyone who has gotten the call, a huge heartfelt congrats!!

You aren’t going to believe this. I just got my phone and computer back!! I have been a total mess, not knowing what was going on! I was crying to the phone people and they could have cared less. We can’t go anywhere either because we have bad weather!! My cell phone coverage is not the best in the house either!!
Just needed to vent!

Has any 13ther (I know that sounds funny) on here received a call? I just called my agency and the recep. said they are in a meeting! I wanted to ask is it a referral meeting but I didn’t. I have one more class to teach today and I’ll be crying through the whole thing! I just can’t believe it!

I called and spoke to our coordinator. She said they are “fairly certain,” but have not received confirmation from our contact, b/c she had a family emergency. I told her that someone elase with LID 10/13 had posted and asked if that was good news. She said it is VERY GOOD NEWS. We may not receive referral until tomorrow, as we are in Arizona and often are a day behind east coast. However, since referrals have been received in Tennessee, I am still holding out hope.
I, too would also love to know if any other 10/13 people have received word!

Our agency has received their referrals. Do not know the cut off at this point. They call after translation, so we were told that they would call us with all the information tomorrow. Our LID is 9/29

Congratulations to all the new families!!!!!!!!!!! This experience has been like no other. It’s hard to explain unless you’re actually in the soup watching and praying as the process unfolds. This will be our first child and my wife and I want to express our gratitude to RQ and everyone else in our international network. It’s hard to say if we’re in or out right now. But either way it’s been a true blessing to have such a wonderful experience. I’m sure this is one of many reasons RQ created this website. We’re forever grateful to be part of the excitement.
Now enough of the mushy stuff. Come on 10/14 and beyond!!!!

Our lg. China Only agency in CO has confirmed receipt of the pkg. She told me to call in 1 hour to confirm receipt of all the referrals-they check to make sure no one was missed.

My post is not posting!!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with our CHina coordinator and she confirmed that we did not receive our referral today (we are 10-17-05). I am sad but that is pretty much what I expected. At least if they make it through the 14th we know we are next for sure. It should be an easy month.

I am so happy for all you getting your referrals today! What an exciting, happy day! We may be next depending on what the cut off day is. I can’t believe the referrals have been mailed out, the calls are happening, and we still don’t know “the date.” I told myself I would only check this site once an hour. Yea right! I think I have checked about 50 times so far. Congrats to all the new parents today!

I am so sorry you are not in this batch. Last month, with a 09/29/05 LID, I was in your shoes. Yeah, there’s some satisfaction in knowing that you’re next, but for now it still stinks.

We have a daughter!!!
Her name is Yangxi Zi Lian from Yangxi SWI in Guangdong. She was born on 7/1/2006 and is 7 months today. They describe her as active, restless, quick, with a ready smile. They are going to email me a photo…I can’t wait to see her!!!

willowflower – if you happen to read this, PM me… Our daughters are from the same SWI – Yangxi in Guangdong and are only 2 weeks apart (mine’s bday is June 12….) I have been trying to do some research to find out more about that SWI, etc… so would love to talk more with you about it, etc….
