This is my first time responding but I know how much I loved seeing everyone’s referrals and now we’re very thankful to have ours! We know she was a perfect pick for us because she has the birthdate of my first husband who had died from cancer 10 years ago. Her name is Qian Li Run. Birthdate 3/21/06. Province ChongQing. Congratulations to all of those who got their referrals! I’ve been glued to my computer while at work.
Received some disappointing news from our agency. We have a LID of 10/10 . Our agency received a packet from DHL from CCAA with only 2 of 5 referrals expected and our referral was not in this batch. Of those 5 referrals expected, one was ours, and the remaining 4 were for 10/12. Has anyone else had this experience? Our agency does say that another packet from CCAA is expected tomorrow but they have never had referrals split into two packets and so they are expecting that this packet will contain recent LIDs.
Any information would be appreciated.

We recieved our call at 11:08am 2/1/07. We don’t have a blog so I can’t post pictures, but we think she is just beautiful!!! She was born 11/08/05, and is in the Guangdong province. She has spikey hair and very big eyes!! In Oct 06 she weighed 16 lbs and was 2 1/2 feet tall. We are very much in love with her!!! Congratulations to all of you who also got their referrals, and RQ I pray that you recieved yours also, and congratulations especially to you!! Thanks for keeping me sane the last few months! It has been a crazy ride that’s for sure. To all of you still waiting, what they say is true, as soon as you see that little face it doesn’t matter how long your wait was, it’s worth it!! Now comes the hard part, waiting to travel :)

For those who commented on our new daughter, yes she is adorable! Sweet as can be. But interestingly enough, 4 separate people (friends and family) commented by e-mail on her apparent disposition for looking like she is a bit “feisty.” Yeah, my wife and said at the same time when we saw her “She has my “scowl!”

We also got the call!! 12:55pm Thursday while I was a work. That was comical at best! I was with a customer and grabbed my cell out of my pocket, started running through the store screaming for my friend to come help this customer while I was on the phone. The ladies’ that called were cracking up the whole time this was going on.. Then, I was shaking and crying so much that my friend had to find my list of questions that got lost somehow and had to get me a piece of paper to write on. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looking at me to get any info at all. I told them I had to tell Daddy first and then they would know.

mamabear–I am so sorry to here about your situation! You must be devastated. The same thing happened to a friend of mine a couple of months ago. When her agency called to find out what happened, China told them that the LID that they had was incorrect and they provided a new LID that was 2 weeks later than the one she was told. I hope your agency makes a call to find out what happened. Keep us updated.
