JCICS Statement on other countries
For those considering other countries, the JCICS has issued a statement on the status of several countries.

January 29, 2007 - Joint Council staff and the Board of Directors met with the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on Monday in conjunction with our in-person quarterly Board meeting. For up-to-date information on specific countries, please visit their respective Joint Council page: Ukraine, Russia, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and Kazakhstan.
The India page appears to be about Nepal, possibly because the U.S. Embassy in India covers Nepal.
They also have some items about Guatemala listed.
