When will referrals arrive?
In the past 6 months the time between referrals has been 32, 38, 28, 34, 29, and 32 days. That is an average of 32 days, with the least being 28 and the most being 38. The number 32 is also the only number that appears twice, and it is also the midpoint of the numbers.
This means we can likely expect to see them between April 2 (a Monday) and April 12 (a Thursday), with the most likely date being closer to April 6 (a Friday).
As always, this is based on recent history and nothing says the CCAA has to fall within these dates. However, it’s probably the best guess anyone can make right now.

Thanks RQ. I agree 100%; I have been assuming between April 2-5th, but the 6th seems likely too. I could never predict any of that for myself without all the data you provide on the site, but I am able to do this. It helps me to set realistic expectations about the wait and is very helpful when trying to be patient about it. Thanks again.

I think too, that the first week of April is the week. Especially since it is incredibly busy for our family! Thanks for keeping it sane RQ!

Thanks RQ. I’ll take your best guess any day of the week and twice on Sunday! I was saying that April 1st would be the most appropriate day being April Fool’s Day but since it is a Sunday, guess I don’t have to worry! lol

Thankyou RQ for posting the number of days between referrals. My DH strongly feels that we will see the referrals between April 2-6th. He is hoping they will arrive on April 5th, as that is his birthday! We wish you and your family the best as you prepare to travel to China! We really appreciate the time and effort you have put into this blog (website). It has really helped us through this long wait!

I was actually hoping they would get back to end-of month referrals this time around. March 30?
Here’s hoping them arrive soon at any rate (it’s years away for me with LID of 11/9/06).

I’m hoping for Thursday, April 5th as I have a friend with a 10/31/05 LID. Here in Canada April 6th is a holiday so I’m not sure if the agencies would be working or not.

Easter refferals would be nice. Then you have even more to celebrate! Here’s hoping for a really big batch.

I am thinking getting the call around the 4th or 5th…and then getting our package say 2 days later. Maybe on my bday (the 10th??) I cannot believe after 17 months this is finally about to happen. I am just giddy.

I have a feeling referrals will arrive on April 4th. I work from home but on that day I will be in the office with meetings galore–not home with my phone like normal. So in my own egocentric way I figure it will be just my luck for them to come on that one day. Mind you I am not complaining–I just want that referral to hurry up and get here!!!!!!!!

I would love to see referrals before Easter and would make for such a nice weekend celebration! Here’s hoping it happens soon as I’m so ready to see her face!
