Juicy RumorAn agency has told their clients they have something coming from the CCAA that is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. They do not know if it is referrals or not but seem to think there is at least a chance that it is. Their next LID is 10/28. I’ll give this one an r5 that the agency said it, but only an r3 that it is actually referrals in that package.

wouldn’t that be WAAAAYYY too early for referrals.
Last month we got the same message and it turned out he packages were something other than referrals.
We were all screaming “the stork is flying”
In the end …all we got was…stork poop that week.
However…hope springs eternal and we like hopeful rumors.
I will however remain “cautiously (very cautiously) optimistic.

My how time changes things. Last year I was devastated by a five day batch, and now I’m praying for one!

I sure hope it is referrals. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they get through October~(wishful thinking).

In as much as I would LOVE to think that this is a package of referrals - I just feel like we’d have more info if it was. At least there are some juicy rumors flying around.

All — While I believe there is a package coming from DHL to the unnamed agency, I would expect that since a number of folks have not yet received their TAs, that is what is likely to be in the package.

i have been so lackadaisical this month. i’m 10/27 you would think i would be on the edge of my seat. i regulary look for rumors but not with the same excitement of times past. i’m just ready for the next dissapointment it seems. i know that’s crazy, but i’m not going to believe it’s real i guess until i get that call and see that picture.

I agree. I think its TAs. For no other reason that I’m 10/28/05 and I’m not setting myself up for the hurt and dissapointment that I went through last month.

RQ-I suspect the DHL is for TA’s; which is still great news…Snick I hope its referrals too…at least you would know either way if this month is ‘your month’ and I HOPE it is.

Buster and PT, and all the others,
I *love* that RQ is back and I *love* the new posts (I was totally in withdrawal while she was away!) but I’m in a totally different (read: safe) place than I’ve been since all this started back in October 2005.
I *love* the information. I’m an info-junkie, but my head won’t let my heart get broken again this month.

TA’s normally come first, but not always. They are not tied to each other, each comes from a different department. It often works out that TA’s arrive shortly before referrals, but it’s not a sure thing.

I’m going for WIN - Well Into November!
I don’t think this is at all realistic and truly don’t believe it will happen, but with a LID of Nov 1st it’s my positive outlook!!
I’m looking forward to the batch when I will finally know that I am next and be able to put it with conviction.
Still hoping, WIN, WIN, WIN!!

I was just as shocked as Snickerdoodle when I read this post! I had to reread just to make sure the Chinese food I just ate, did not play tricks on my mind. I am happy to see a good rumor out there, but like Buster and Pettrout stated above, I too am guarding my heart. Last month was so nerve racking and it left me in a bummed out mood. I refuse to go there again. I am working hard to make it through each day on a positive note and stay busy.
It is so nice to finally see a rumor about the next batch of referrals and I hope that at least all of Oct 2005 or the first part of Nov 2005 is included.

I’m pretty sure this agency doesn’t have anyone still awaiting TA — they had no referrals the last couple of batches. But they’re not holding their breath that it’s referrals, either.

I am having a hard time not getting excited. Really - I am trying…but oh god its not easy. Having a tough time that the referrals were actually sent tho. Not trying to be negative at all…. just…guarded.

Neither my husband or myself have been able to get on the CC-AA website since Saturday and it is absolutely driving me nuts. With an LID of April 11, 2006, I am anxiously hoping that we will at least be out of the review room. I really hope that is changes soon.

Our agency told us this same thing last month, everyone freaked and it turned out to be a box of software.

babystepstochina…I heard that there were two packages expected; one tomorrow and another on Monday (and it has apparently already gone out via DHL). If its software, well….I can’t even write anything about that…..someone else can think of something more creative to say.

I’m with the agency that posted the message of a package arriving on Thursday. It would not be TA’s, as we have not received any referrals for months. Our next batch is LID 10/28. They posted that they are expecting packages both tomorrow and Monday.
Put your seat belts securely on and keep your hands inside the rollercoaster!

I rarely look on the blog in the evenings anymore and was pleasantly surprised to see so much activity. It’s great to have you back RQ and reading everyones input (the mod squad and folks). I’ll have to re-train myself for more activity and analysis. I love it!
I suspect referrals will speed up since we just dipped into our savings to put in a backyard patio!
