CCAA’s work schedule

Apparently the CCAA will be working this weekend.

They might be working Monday, but that part is not clear just yet.

At any rate, some agencies are expecting a package Monday. If that package is not referrals then if the CCAA works Monday we could see them Wednesday if they mail them on their last work day before their holiday.

Several agencies are saying referrals will not be mailed before they break for their May holiday but several are also expecting them any day.

So, as usual, we wait.

Good news… at least they are sticking to the ‘monthly’ referral rate!

Now if they could just do All of October!!!!

  3. gonnagetkayli Says:

we all need to do our chanting this weekend, someone else on this site came up with “WIN” (well into November)..

    chanting….win, win, win, win :)

  4. amygum Says:

Maybe if they work the weekend they will have more time to do matching? Wishful thinking? If they work the weekend they should be able to get the referrals out.

  5. afcmayah Says:

Why is it that so many agencies have such different information. That is more frustrating than the wait.

  6. Luna Says:

I’m really hoping that we will see them before the 2nd week of May. If they only do a couple days worth, it’s going to be A LOT harder to swallow waiting so long between batches.

Clack, clack, clack, the roller coaster goes UP.

Well, I just wish on Monday they would send the agencies some information that they are or are not and what they are sending…why not put everyone out of this misery? I know they can’t do that today because they probably honestly do not know yet how far they will get…. I am telling myself after the holiday…I don’t need the headache of anticipating something if there is nothing..if I am surprised great; if not, thank goodness I am having a mini vacation with my family next weekend…

Oh god - this is all killing me! I am going to be away next week (Tues-Sat) so if the call does come - I won’t be with my husband. STINKS! Our agency does a call - and that’s it until they translate the package - so it would be about another 3 days after the call to see her face! I’ll be on the first flight home if I think I could see her face at the end of next week! And here I was thinking IF we were lucky enough to make it this time - it wouldn’t be until mid May. I soooo hope we make this batch. Please please!!!

My frustration is slightly different, but still tough. We received our SN TA on Monday 4/23 and our CA is for May 29 (Yeah) and we thought that the wait was nearing an end. As of today, we still do not have travel dates because there is uncertainty with how long we will be required to stay in our daughter’s province (maybe up to 10 days). If we can not get confirmation before Monday, our CA may need to be rescheduled out. So close yet so far…

How long has CCAA’s website been down? It’s my first chance to check it today, and no luck. Just wondering.

  18. Luna Says:

Yeah, pinging….What the heck is it??

  19. shanggirls Says:

My guess is that the CCAA will be working on Monday if only to facilitate the logging in of any last dossiers by the May 1st deadline.

The real answer about pinging is:

“Pinging is used to let other websites know that your blog has been updated”

The CCAA website is back up but does not appear to have been updated. Let’s hope for some update by end of their day, tomorrow. LID 10/28/05

  23. catherinethegreat Says:

    Julie43,
Snick; correct me if I am wrong:
Pinging is like the sound (this just reflects the notification) that notifies you when your inbox gets a new email. Some people have apparently hooked up their cell phones via the internet to receive a notification when an internet page has been updated….in the case of this blog forum it sounds like they did this for rumors here..From Snick’s definition it sounds like that people can do this on their internet pages to send you ‘pings’ too. I think it can be irritating on a busy page…cause you would get a lot of notifications from people you did not want messages from (spam emails, etc). Hopefully this is a correct definition, or I should ping pong off giving these away…I tried…sorry if it does not make sense.
