Happy Day!!! We have our referral–no blogsite or anything sorry folks. Our baby is a little girl named Bo Ping and she was born 9/12/06 in Jiangxi Province! Her daddy and I are OVER THE MOON!!!!!!!!

Wonderful to see all the referrals pouring in, here and on the October 05 DTC group! I have a LID of 10.28.05, so am expecting to be in this batch too! May take a little longer than US referrals though, as here in the Netherlands we have to wait a few weeks for referrals to be translated before we get ‘the call’ from the agency. We got the call at 2:43 p.m. She is a little over 10 months and is waiting for us in Jiangxi Providence. We will get to see her pictures tomorrow. I can not even describe how it feel’s to actually be receiving the call. God is so good!

We just received our referral this morning! Our baby girl is 7.5 months old and weighs 15.5 pounds. She is with a foster family in the Hubei Province. Pictures arrive tomorrow. What a blessing for us and congrats to everyone who received referrals.

As the referrals were posted April, and some places started getting them as early as 30th. Is that and April referral package or a May one? Already having thoughts of another referral batch in May?????

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly happy for everyone!!!! This sooo takes me back to January 4 this year- the 2nd best day of my life (1st best was February 25 this year when Elizabeth was placed in my arms)!!!!

We were skipped in January and got our referral in Feb and traveled in March. Everything seemed to work out like it was meant to be…..we completed our adoption in China on our wedding anniversary!

I didn’t get the call - I had to MAKE it!!
Just typical of the UK process. I rang our central facilitating ‘agency’ (actually a government department). I asked to confirm that I had been matched then I asked for some details (as paperwork won’t be sent until processed - and they can’t tell me how long that will take!) They told me name, dob and province - I was so shocked that I didn’t think to ask for anything else, so I will have to wait until next week for more details.
I’m not posting too much detail (as the CCAA don’t like it), suffice to say I’m thrilled. My daughter is 6 and a half months old from Yunnan.
I would also like to thank RQ for the fabulous job she does here - it’s kept me sane and helped me get this far, my daugher and I truly thank you.

we are learning through our Yahoo DTC Group that there are people who have not received their referrals just like us. Thought there might be some of you out there that would appreciate this information. Thus far all roads are pointing to one agency that smaller agencies work through. Don’t think it’s a good idea to post the names so we’ll leave it there. When will this ride end???!!!
