Several agencies are confirming that the CCAA has not updated the internal system to show the cut off date.

Thanks RQ…I appreciate your thoroughness…it just makes you wonder how the rumor about the 7th got out there then..although I totally get it probably is an accurate rumor..

RQ, thanks for the info. Your updates, no matter how brief, helps keep me sane. With a LID of 11/7/05 I feel like a simmering pot, ready to break into a full boil! Any other “simmering pots” out there?

So then …. is there still a margin of HOPE that the 7th rumour is just that???? Yeah, grasping at straws here. Here’s hoping CCAA at least updates the internal system today so we can know for sure and move on!!!

Thanks RQ. Guess there are a couple of agencies getting good feedback personally. It’ll be interesting to see when the internal site changes. I hate to say it but I think this rumor is probably right, sad though it is.

Slake 2370, yes, I feel like a simmering pot. We also have an 11/7 lid. I spoke to my agency yesterday and they indicated that we might not hear anything until the beginning of next week. I continue to keep my fingers crossed for the both of us. First time mom?

How possible is it, I wonder, if all of these rumors about LID cutoffs, good and bad, are just based on people making things up or miscommunications?

I wonder how many of us 11/7 LID’s will meet each other in China? That prospect is exciting too. This is all filling me with such sweet anxiety albeit long overdue.

My agency’s next batch is 11/8 and they just got word they DO NOT expect to be included. Medium size, multi-country agency.

SuzyQ…I believe this one…I hate to say it guys..but the 7th looks to be the cut-off..just my opinion…Congrats to everyone who gets a referral this month…No matter what the cut-off is, I am happy for all of these families….

We’re 11/7 too! Been simmering all week and I guess I’ll just have to keep the stove on. I hope we all meet up in China too, kayleecomeshome! Sweet anxiety is the perfect way to put it! C’mon referrals!!!

Just a thought, and RQ, please weigh in…
It sounds like there are a lot of 11/07/05 LIDs; maybe this still will be a large batch; maybe there were just a ton of folks logged in between 11/01 and 11/07 (which incidentally was a Monday).
So, we shouldn’t give up hope that the CCAA will still get thru November in 2 to 3 months; FYI my agency had Nov LIDs of the following: 7th, 11th, 21st, 22nd, 30th.

canthardlywait, boy I sure hope they arrive on Friday. This month has been a little easier knowing we should be next, but these last few days have been a killer. Come on stork start your wings up and land here by Friday PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

not first time parents, we have two DS’s ages 16 and 11. Yikes, we’re starting all over again, but very excited to do so! I think next week is going to be when we’ll hear also. No good reason, just intuition.
Glad to hear from all the other simmering pots out there. Let’s try to keep the lid on a little longer…

I agree with you. I don’t think we will see the referrals until Monday. Just my hunch. I have been thinking that would be the case all along. IF we did see them before the weekend, that would be such a bonus. But I am not counting on it.
I would, however, like to know a little more for certain if we are in. I want to start to breathe again!
