As bad as the referral wait is, I’m sure having your childs picture and not being able to get to her is torture. Congrats to all who are getting closer to “gotcha”.

Canthardlywait, I can only speak for myself, but the wait for referral was MUCH more difficult for me than the wait for travel has been. Now that I can see my little one’s sweet face, it seems to carry me through. :) Here’s hoping the wait for referral shortens soon.

Very happy for everyone who received their TAs. Sure hope my travel partners and I hear something soon. We kind of feel left out…tomorrow is another day. Maybe we’ll all get good news….leftover TA people and referrals. That would be nice.

I am so happy for all of those who received TA’s today. It is good news for all of us. They are still getting them out every month. I am thinking since they came today, my opinion, only opinion is that we will see referrals on Tuesday the 5th. It seems that a few days lapses from TA’s to referrals. This would be 35 days since last referrals. Now, what i am HOPING HOPING for is that referrals are mailed tomorrow and we get them Monday!! Please please..AND lets hope they go beyond the 7th!! (Sweet Leee)

I agree with Mom 2 Laura, the referral wait was far more difficult. There’s so much to do to get ready (for us procrastinators, who also insist on getting a garden planted before we go as well as actually do some of the work we pretended to do while we were checking RQ instead), that the time fells hyper-speeded up. Now more than ever I find it hard to comprehend how RQ went on a 3 – week job trip shortly before she went to China. And with an uncooperative agency to boot. You go girl!

Is anyone else adopting a waiting child out there? We returned our confirmation letter and it arrived in China on 5/28. I think we may hear something at the end of June…how long on average did it take you all from the date the CCAA received your confirmation? Congrats to all of you who are traveling soon!!
