Nothing is coming early .... or even on-time anymore. Even SN TAs seem to be taking more time. At the beginning of 2006 they were running 50-75 days. Now the norm is 100-160. Although, I am sure with NSN referrals taking longer, more and more people are switvhing over to SN and this probably bogs down the program slightly. Reasons for this include a new baby just before a family is due a referral, or a medical crisis where the family needs some time before referral. "On hold" is what kmh said. It happens at time of referral. For example, if I were to become pregnant and give birth while waiting for a referral, CCAA would put us on hold until the newest child was one year old.
