A family who is LID on the 17th has been told they are not included this month.

Has anyone heard anything about the 16th being included in this next batch? I know there’s a big chance it will not be included, but there’s also that small chance it could. Right? Please, please, please let the 16th be in this next batch. Thanks RQ for all the information your putting out there. I can’t stay away from the rumors.

Based on everything that RQ has written about what the CCAA says, my guess is they will continue on with the 6 day batch and get to the 13th or 14th.

Since the past three months have been single digit days of referrals, why not start NOT speculating and NOT getting peoples hopes up just to be let down every month. Seems to be a re-occuring theme here lately. I think since this is a community of support, let’s just celebrate the days they do get through at this point. We all know the wait is getting longer and longer. I think a lot of people rely on this site as truth or pretty close to the truth and I’m now starting to question the validity of these speculations. Sometimes it seems as though people’s emotions are being toyed with and I don’t think that is the intention of this community.

intheeast424..while I can understand and have sympathy for your view point, I just want to point out that no one is trying to ‘toy with anyones emotions’. This site is meant to share rumors..its up to the individual person to believe or not to believe..its okay to disagree about the validity of the content of the rumors (I often do). However, its up to the individual person whether their hopes get raised or not…and trully I know what it feels like to have my hopes dashed like you (the two day fiasco did that for me and countless others waiting). Believe me, I am sympathetic to EVERYONE on this site. The wait is really HARD…I meant no criticism to you either…I appreciate your post. Just my opinion.

I was in the awful Oct 25-26 batch and am so grateful to be through with the wait.
I sadly concluded well over a year ago that it seems someone in the the CCAA puts out disinformation each month. I know it’s a terrible thing to say, but I think it now more than ever.
Once I factored that in, however, I was able to keep my perspective and view the wait much more objectively. I was able to give those initial, more positive rumors the kind of detachment they deserve.

Please don’t stop posting about the rumors. I don’t come here for facts, I come to see what all the others agencies are saying! I have to admit I was surprised by the 11/17 rumor as it would be our biggest batch in a while. Based on RQ’s poll numbers my good case scenerio is 11/16 (my LID). Like Ladybug4 I hope they at least get to 11/14. Then I will be able to say NEXT!

What I really love about this site is that we hear what is being said to other families…sometimes it turns out to be incorrect or just a rumor but I want to hear what is being said.
I appreciate RQ’s analysis and also the rating system she has put in place.
The wait has been hard and this site helps me know more than even our agency is free to share with us. I believe that agencies may know more than they share but need to guard their relationship with the CCAA and so in turn do not feel free to share everything they know. I love the bits and pieces I am able to pick up here.

Even though my emotions go up and down, I’m thankful for this site. It’s the only place I can get any information. My agency just responds that they don’t know anything whenever I call them. I take any movement forward as one step closer to the day I’ll be a mom. I can’t imagine all the work that goes into this blog. Thanks RQ!

The 17th never seemed very likely to me anyway, sorry for those who are really bummed about it though. I allowed myself to get a little excited last month and it was kind of a let down when it was just 6 days. When is it that we’re expecting for these referrals to come out? Could it be the end of next week?

With a Nov. 17 LID, I didn’t expect to be included this month anyway. But I do hope we get close enough to know we will be in for sure in August. That is, as sure as anything is these days!

Hi everybody
I really appreciate this forum as in the UK there is very little or if not no news from the government agencies or DFES, (which I think is the only contact allowed with the CCAA!!!) Keep up the goodwork rumour queen….. if our social services had any news it is so outdated, ie they thought we would be out to China by now !!!!!!!!!(LID 24/march 06). I have given up trying to find out info via the official route and rely on this type of forum.
Any rumours give us a rough idea anyway!
