The average time between referrals for the past six months is 32 days, and the average over the past year is 32 days. The least over the past year is 24 and the most is 38.
Referrals began arriving on July 5th this month.
The soonest I would expect to see the next batch arrive is Monday July 30th, the latest is Monday August 13, and the most likely day is Monday August 6th.
A reminder, these are projections based on recent history. There is nothing to say the CCAA won’t do them sooner, or later.

Thanks for the next months when predictions. This is totally OT for this subject, but didin’t know where else to post it. I was looking at the latest pole being done and it doesn’t look like the masses are voting. I read your blog daily (ok truth, several times daily) and somehow I missed that a new poll was being done until I read somehting in the forum. I’m wondering if you can do a post on the blog letting people know that it is up and going so they know to vote. If you already did, please ignore this post. It just seems that with readership up as much as I think it is, more people would have voted by now. Thanks.

Thanks RQ…that is in line (actually better) than my guess. You must have been reading a lot of minds. I was looking for your post last month to see what the average was and started counting from there. Knowing that we are next, can I actually (or the people around me) stand the next few weeks. May and June were easy, this month has already been crazy with the excitement of knowing we are next.

I have to admit that the last several months have been flying by. I can’t believe that it is almost the middle of July. I know it seems like the next batch of referrals will take an eternity to arrive, but when it does, I’m amazed at just how quickly it truly appears.
You never cease to amaze me R.Q., and I have to admit to an R.Q. addiction.
I’ve had so many ups and downs regarding this wait, and mostly the unknowns….. but R.Q., you clarify and help to put things in a better perspective, and all of the agencies should support you, as you have found a niche that is truly useful, (they should put you on the payroll too :).
I look forward to this most recent poll results. Thanks again,

It’s been so long since I posted that I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I’m sorry that this doesn’t go along with the subject. We have been home from China for 3 months with our daughter, and we finally have a site that has pictures on it. Its http://www.adoptionjournals.org. Authors last name Harms. Password naomi. And on one other subject, the rules for adopting, has anyone heard if the rules will relax sometime in the future. My dh and I would love to adopt from China again, but I have taken meds for anxiety, mostly due to the fact that our first adoption we were told that it would only be 8 months, and then the slow down started, and we waited 2 years.
I thought that after coming home I wouldn’t need to check RQ, and I didn’t for the first 2 months or so, but I love to see how everyone is doing, how long the wait is, and of course see the pictures of all the beautiful babies!

TBdunavant and angela..actually, I thought someone like me and my dh, with an LID of 9/06 would have to wait 3 years…that makes me feel a little better. Not much though.
We were told by our agency about a month ago that it would be 24 mos or longer from our LID. I guess no one really knows for sure but I think rq’s predictions are the closest so far.
