Not good news for the 25th
I’m told that someone with a lid of Nov 25th has been told she is not included in this batch.
I’m not ready to consider this a done deal, but it is not looking very good right now.

Oh no…not another small batch. I surely hope your source is wrong or misunderstood her agency.
Still pulling for a big batch (I remember the horridness of the wait in the last few weeks, it is not fun)….

Is this the same person who posted on the November yahoo group? Because the way i read that post is that the agency said they wouldn’t get their referral until September, which might mean simply that referrals aren’t expected this week. (which we’ve all figured by now anyway.)
I just can’t stand the thought of the 24th being it, with a LId 11/30, I’d have to spend another month wondering if I’m in or not, and that is getting really, really, sickening.

Perhaps this person is from an agency who has no idea - like, for example MINE. When I talked to our Department a couple of weeks ago, saying how excited we were to be next, I was told not to get too excited, as it may not happen. Our LID is November 22nd…..

Crud. With a 12/13/05 LID, I’m assuming (or am I still hoping?) for a Nov referral. And a couple days further for this batch probably wouldn’t get me a referral any sooner. But darn…a little bit of good news sure would have been nice for a change.
I bought myself a woo-woo cupcake from a
‘cupcake bar’. I ate half of it and set it down. I have a feeling that I’ll be grabbing the plate & finishing it now.
yeah–it’s yummy. It’s a s’mores cupcake. With yummy chocolate ganache.
I’ll diet in China.
I’m happy I’ll be getting off the roller coaster soon (??). I think.

I really hope ALL the november 2005 will get match this time around. It’s become unfaire for them to be waiting for so long. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions for me but am a 2007 LID, I can’t even imagine what they are going through.

Tassie–your agency is probably just worried about that huge batch on 11/21-1/2. HAHA.
The last time I checked the calendar, there were no days b/t 11/21 and 11/22. I think you’re safe to say you’re next.
Oh–and the cupcake is gone now. It was better than I remember (from 20 minutes ago). I’m glad I didn’t let it go to waste. Instead it went to (my) WAIST.
Oh–I am a card.

I shouldn’t feel shocked anymore but I gasped out loud when I read this.
With the 22nd as big as it is, I think only a couple days of referrals is highly likely. When will I stop getting my hopes up only to be kicked to the curb every month…….barfbag please.

Well the 24th or possibly the 25th is all i was expecting…..doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping my fingers crossed for more!!!!!!!!
Still praying they will get a little further than that!!!!

I don’t know why I’m surprised by this but I really believed we might finally catch a break this month…UUUGGGHHHH!!!! I’m taking the kids to Disneyland tomorrow but I think I’ll stick to the kiddie rides….my heart can’t take another roller coaster.
Geez, I really really wish I had a cupcake too:)

tassiegirl, why does your reply from your agency not surprise me. It’s a bit sad when the SW has to ask you where are in line, in our case.
So maybe they have a similar agency..not up to speed.

I really was not prepared for another 3 day batch, should have been but wasn’t, it’s days like this I really want to just give up. Just when you think things are to a point you can begin to predict what might happen, then this. This sucks.
I am happy for those of you about to receive a referral though, can’t wait to see pictures.

DragonMom - if you’re LID Nov 30, and with the 24th in this batch, you ARE in the next batch–easily–even if it’s smaller than the last 4 batches ou’re still in.(see the AUg 04 percentage stats on the 11/2005 forum thread). No question about that now. Lots of reasons to celebrate and get ready!!!

Hi–cupcake girl here! If anyone is traveling with me & wants to put in an order for a woo-woo cupcake, I’ll be happy to take orders–haha. The place is called Jilly’s Cupcake Bar and it’s in STL. I recommend it to my fellow St Louisans. It’s the best bar I’ve been to in a while.
The ganache was to die for. And the cupcake had a chocolate covered graham cracker on the top. YUMMMMMM
(And no–I don’t own it & I don’t know the person who does).
hey–I guess we don’t have to give up yet! Fingers crossed!!!!!
