A second European Agency
A second European Agency is now saying “with almost complete certainty” that some of December will be in this batch.
This is a very reliable agency and they have my complete attention with this one.
They basically say that they are positive that the 24th is in, and can say “with almost complete certainty” that some of December will be in this batch.
This one gets an R3½
I absolutely hate it when people get their hopes up only to have them smashed on the rocks of reality. I hope that this doesn’t happen this time. But, there are two agencies saying it, and one of them has been reliable in the past.

Crazy train! We went from 25th not being in to some of December!!! My head is spinning. “with almost complete certainty†I can’t imagine them saying this without good reason but we always get our hopes up and then you know what happens. I SO want to be surprised in a happy way this time!!!

Oh geeez. I went to bed with a cutoff of 24th, and wake to this–and both sources are reliable kinds, too.
My only way to reconcile these bits of info is this: the person with LID 11/25 who was told they were NOT included in this batch (& in the past that’s been solid cutoff info) is from the Netherlands. And the netherlands has some very speicific age restrictions (no less than 40 years age difference, etc.) — and I know of one Nov LID Netherlands person did not get her NSN referral in a recent batch because the CCAA matcher missed her countries age restrictions and she couldn’t accept. Another child was eventually found for her.
With the wait getting longer, and many referrals seeming younger, perhaps this is a Netherlands issue (isloated), and the December referrals are true.
I’m still preparing for that purple “November 24th”, though.

Well, this is the third time I’m trying to post this message, and as I retype it’s getting so darn old in my head. So, the edited, boring version of what I wanted to say, is if this were true, I’d be walking on H2O……. well air, whatever….. I’m so excited I have butterfiles in my stomach…… could be ladybugs.
I am so in awe of those that are about to get some of the best news of their entire lives………. December, oh if it is only true…… I’m crying as I type. It never bodes well.

RQ - if this second Euro agency is positive that 24th is in and can say with almost certainty that some of Dec is included in this batch–then why would there be no mention of any other November dates (No 25, Nov 28. 30, etc) being “positively” in? Seemed odd to jump from 24th is definitely in to news of December, and no mention of the (considerable) Nov dates in between.
The leap from 24th to December seems to jump over so much…
(Unless the agency had a confirmed matching (earlier) up to Nov 24th, and they know that matching continues — ?)

I have thought all along that I was in this batch (lid 11/24). But there has always been a little bit of well maybe not. That little bit of maybe not is gone this morning & for the first time I am crying with joy. I just want to see my baby. Thanks so much RQ for all the info you provide to us.

if they are going to match any of December than i would say the cut-off is dec 4, as the first big LID day in Dec (according to RQ polls) is Dec 5

Our LID is not until March 7, 2005 - but….this is encouraging that at least we “might” be getting some of Dec. in this time. It makes me feel a little better that we have several more months this year to get thru Dec..and maybe even some of Jan…which just brings me closer to March. Are Dec, Jan, Feb big months? I know March is…but at least we are in the first week of it.

For so many months so much (of my) energy has gone into “things will improve when they finish November”. I think I told myslef that I could finally stop being numb once they finished November, as I have held onto the belief that things will then start to speed up a little. I feel like so much is riding on the next few months. I feel a little bit of hope creeping back in and that totally makes me anxious. That 2 day batch really hit hard back in the spring, and I don’t want to fall into that hole again. Trying to not get excited here, but want to.

Even though our log in date is not until 3/7/05 - this is encouraging - we have several more months in 2007 so maybe we could get thru Dec and some Jan. Does anyone know how big Dec, Jan and Feb are? Wholy mackerel. Could it be true?????? The only way to know is to get through the extra long weekend. I thought getting one weeks worth of referrals would be great, especially with the 22nd being so large. Getting through a week and a half to two weeks would be a miracle. November 1st was referred in May. To the 7th was in June; the 14th in July; the 21st in August. So depending on whether you “count” May (since it was only one day), September (this next batch of referrals due next week) is the 4th or 5th month.

It’s not like there was another set of referrals in May… the “April” batch was in early April.
Not that CCAA goes by the months anyway - it’s just the next batch, usually about 28-38 days between.
Easier for us (me) to keep track of using months, though.

While Nov 1st was referred on April 30th, it was part of the “May” batch of referrals. There was not another set of referrals in May.
Not that CCAA goes by months anyway - they tend to send them about 24-28 days apart - it’s easier (for me) for batch purposes to count those as in May - otherwise one can think they did 2 batches in April and none in May, when they just keep rolling along at about a month between batches.

Just heard from someone in a warm European country who says that there is no second source for the referral of December LIDs rumour, and that someone may have misunderstood (not misrepresented, but misunderstood). She says that in her country the R3.5 rumour posted on the blog this mornming is still not believed but that the 24th is “sure”

A little clarification: apparently it is not two “agencies” saying this. One of them is an agency, the other is a company that helps families with their paperwork but doesn’t actually submit anything to China for the family.

WOE! This would be GREAT news! Hoping that it is true. I’m just a little concerned that this directly contradicts the last rumor of 11/25 NOT being in (I know that’s not exactly how it was worded, but that is how it read). How can one source be absolutely 100% correct and the other be absolutely 100% wrong? I realize there may be a misunderstanding, but still….

This rumor gets an R3.5 because of the way it comes to me. I am positive that the agencies in question are saying this.
The other rumor gets an R3 because of the way it comes to me. It’s second hand information coming from a few people.
I do not know which is right and which is wrong. If I had to guess I’d say it’s more likely that the cut off is the 24th than sometime in December. But that’s a guess, I don’t know.

I am sorry but I do not believe this December rumor. There is no way they could come that far, and too-good rumors always tend to come right before.
I believe the 22-23rd of November, and hopefully the 24th will be in - these are all huge days.

With a LID of 12-20-05 I am genuinely getting excited now…but don’t tell my husband (he doesn’t even want to hear about the RQ site anymore)!

Afraine, the link to the forum is at the top right–just click the purple “forum” under “Site Navigation” to get to the public section. You’ll need to register to access the private section of the forum, which includes the LID rooms. To request to be added to the November 05 LID room, click “general discussion” and then post to the thread at the very top of that category with your request.
Somebody in the Nov. ‘05 LID room said their agency had e-mailed that they had a package on the way from CCAA, they do not know whether it’s referrals.

Has anyone ever used the computer game where you build your own rollar coaster?
You can build a standard coaster or put things in it like cliffs and fire and when you are done you can run it and see if the riders survrive or not. We messed with it at Walt Disney World.

Isn’t it just crazy that we’re all excited about the possibility of them doing 10 whole days?! I thought things were bad a year ago, but looking back from where we are now, a year ago looks pretty great. 18 or 19 days in a batch? It’s like an impossible dream now, isn’t it? So sad. All my pessimism aside, I do hope they get into December for the sake of all you late 2005 people!
