One U.S. agency has informed their clients that something has been mailed from the CCAA.
They do not know what it is, but they are hopeful it is referrals.

It´s the first time writing here ever, but I´ve been visiting your site nearly each day for the last ten months. And I know a lot of swedish couple and singles doing so too.

I am so hopeful that the great bird, the mighty stork, is winging across the pacific with a beak full of referrals through December….2nd, 2005 (that was a friday!) HURRY, fly on those warm updrafts and plop the packages all over America and the world! OK, a tad dramatic, but one tends to rely alot on fantasy in the adoption world, it is my second favorite defense mechanism behind blind denial!

My agency told me that we have been matched up and that they are just waiting for the director in China to sign zee papers.
He said they may have already signed and mailed them, but he didn’t know. So… I think the package is the referrals!

My nephew informed me today that he thought Lily had been shipped and was somewhere over the ocean already. LOL. I explained to him that it wasn’t our turn in line yet but that maybe some other special parents would receive good news soon. He can’t seem to understand the sequence of things yet. ;-) Come on referrals.

I have to give the CCAA credit they have been pretty consistant in sending out referrals during the first week of the month for a while now…
There is comfort in consistancy… unless it is consistantly slow!!! LOL!

You have to request LID room access on the forum (see the links on the top right hand side of this page). Then once you are in the forum, register using the same id as you use on this bit, and then in the General Discussion topics there is a thread at the top that you can put your request. As soon as RQ has time she will add you to the right LID room.

I always enjoy reading RQ, but these last two days it has been awesome!
Good luck to all getting referrals, you’ve waited a looooong time.
There is hope in my heart that things will start to speed up, but that may just be because I have a 4 yr old who everyday at least once says “mom, I want my baby sister”

Oh man, I can’t believe this is the way our weekend’s going to start –
So if referrals are possibly on the way, Spain usually seems to get them quickly – is there a possibility that we will hear from them on Sunday night (which would be Mon. there)?

I know there is no proven statistics that TA’s come before referrals but that does seem to happen alot. Have TA’s come for the August referrals yet?
