Rumors are sparse
Most of the credible rumors out right now are about the when and not about the how far. Several agencies are still either expecting or hopeful that referrals will be sent before the CCAA breaks for their National Day holiday.
I’ve also heard from a few people who say the CCAA will be working this weekend, though they do not say how they came by this information.
There is some guessing going on in one European country - first they say not the 5th, then they say only three days, then they say maybe five days, and now I’m hearing maybe they misunderstood about the 5th not being in. I can’t give this one an R rating because I think it is more guessing than rumor.
I do not think we have anything at this point that will give us an idea of the size of this batch.
I do still have hope that the batch will be mailed in time for us to see referrals next week, though.
I really, really, wish I had something else to report.

I can not believe that there would even be a whisper of a rumor of 3days!!!!! Geesh - that would mean the least number of lids EVER wouldn’t it?????

Thank you for keeping us informed. Let’s hope that we will hear something soon. I cannot get my hopes up for anything more than what we have seen lately.

There goes my heart skipping a beat yet again. Entering our 19th month……… days away.
This journey has aged me so, and who knows how gray and feeble I’ll be at the end of this road. I’ll make it to China, and keel over at the Great Wall……. what a way to go!!!! But, while I’m lying supine, flat out, I’ll possibly be gazing at blue skies, cause we will without a doubt be smack dab in the middle of the Summer Olympics…….

Oh, and I think my crib, that still is in pieces, a hand me down from a fellow FCC family, is possibly one of the recalled Graco’s…….. anyone else in this situation?

technically, a rumor of three days, if it means up to November 28th (3 days from the last ccaa website update), that’s really just 1 business day of referrals.
The lowest number of business days previously was 2 I believe.
yes, I know most people count weekends as “days processed” but seriously, weekends have so few actual log ins when you look at the date, lots are just “0″.

I can’t find the post that tells RQ’s past predictions…can anyone help me out? I wanted to keep her predictions in mind while the rumors start flying! They have kept me (somewhat) sane in the past. :)

Please, RQ, I hope you will consider getting rid of that crying child’s face on your blog. It’s cruel to have that there for all of us Dec ‘05ers who’re dying for some sort of positive rumors to have to look at. It’s kind of how a lot of us feel right now. Whahh. Perhaps you could suggest they advertise their product with a smiling happy face? I think more people would be inclined to click on their link if they did.

I know that three days is possible…I mean after all we have seen 2 days and 4 days…but those days all had a ton of people per LID/date (esp last month..the 22nd and 23 were ridiculous)…but the 28-30th really aren’t that heavy when you consider the polls…So I HAVE TO BELIEVE November is done this month…it will be 6 months this month:May-October…As for December..well I am very hopeful that they will make it till the 5th..I wish for more..but don’t expect it..so sorry..Hang in there…I think we will hear more rumors at the end of this week..and hopefully some of them will be credible..worth RQ rating them…I just can’t believe the three day rumor if RQ doesn’t even rate it..

Yaaaay!!! Discouraging rumors! Maybe that means this month will actually be a big batch! Early rumors in the last batches were positive and we fell flat on our faces. Maybe this means that the crappy rumors will leave us pleasantly surprised! How’s that for warped thinking?

This is such a discouraging rumor.
Be that as it may, here is what I’m going to do:
I am going to take a deep breath, get out of my seat, put a smile on my face and remember that this is just a rumor. I will not let it dictate my mood until we get actual posting from the CCAA. Then, if it really is only a few days of movement, I will let myself be upset for a day and repeat all of the steps above.
What else can I do? Everything else is just so unproductive…maybe I will make some cookies or something.

Since these are only guesses, maybe the guessing will lead to rumors and they will be great rumors that are also true! PLEASE!!!

Late night thought…for all of you that have waited so long, hang in there…your child is waiting.
My agency recently asked me if I wanted to switch programs to another country. My husband and I thought about it and although we are approaching 50 and desparately want to be parents, we could not make the leap. I have seen our son’s sweet face a thousand times in my heart. I know he is there and waiting for us. There is a plan for him and it includes us.

if 3 days is true, that would only be one day since the 26 and 27 is a weekend.
I would certainly hope they could squeak out at least more than that

I really don’t believe any 3 day rumor! Why on earth should they only go for 3 days when 2 of them are weekend days? I am very positive they will go into December and my guess is that they will at least make it to the 12/05.

Again, the “when” part of this is not even a rumor in my book, but a guess. I would have preferred to have not reported it at all, but it’s being talked about in the forum so I needed to report that it’s out there just so that I can say I don’t think it has any merit.

Hey RQ thank for keeping tabs on whats out there– even if it isn’t much.
I’m wondering, if CCAA does work through the weekend and completes the matching for the next batch, can they mail it out on Sunday or Monday or will the postal service in China be shut down for the holiday also? How does that work?
I’m hoping that if they haven’t completed matching, they will complete it this weekend and get everything in the mail Sunday– but is that a possibility?
I keep chanting, December 5th, December 5th, referrals through December 5th!!
If not December 5th, then please, let’s complete NOVEMBER already!
Sheesh! I am really beginning to HATE the month of November!

Of course, if they are matching “ahead” and waiting for the correct time to send them out…then when they are working and not isn’t as big a deal - it’s just when they are ready to drop them into the mail…

I seem to recall a month sometime last year where referrals arrived out of the blue, without any rumors. Does anybody else remember this, or is it just another weird dream I had?
