Still between 30th and 5th
Several agencies are confirming to their 30th people that they are in. (R3)
At least one agency is saying the cut off is the 30th. (R3)
And one agency is saying the cut off is the 5th. (R2)
Which means we still don’t really know anything.
If the site is going to change before they break for their holiday then I’d expect it to happen tonight. Anyone up for another cyber slumber party? It’s been a long time since we had one. We have no way of knowing if they will it change before they leave for their holiday or not, but I think there is a chance it may.

I’m in !!(even though I’m an 11/22er). I missed the update last month–my month. I got so use to the CCAA not updating till after calls were made, I didn’t watch the site. So I’m here to celebrate with all of you and I hope, hope, hope we go well into December!!! Oh, and people post that they don’t mean to offend but are glad to see Nov. 2005 out of the way, let me tell you, NO offense is taken. No one is more pleased to see it done than us Nov. 05ers ourselves!!!!!!!!!! Come on referrals!!!!!!!!!!!

Count me in! As those in the 12/2005 group will tell you - I had the most bizarre dream last night about referrals and don’t look forward to spending another night working in the Emergency Room!! (In my dream, of course!)

When I first read this I thought the Nov 30 cutoff was an R2 and now it is saying R3!!!!! Is that bad news??

adoptingliberty..its an R3 than NOvember 30th LIDs are IN…not the cut-off…thats because more than one agency is reporting in the Novembe room that they have confirmation that the 30th is IN.; so nothing has changed really here.
…nothing about December NOT being in.
Hopefully the fact that the cut-off is still rated as an R2 for the cutoff being between November 30 - December 5th means that none of the agency that are saying the 30th is IN have early December LIDs…I worry though….that we are not hearing ANYTHING..though this has happenned before too..

Ugh, I am worried too now. The 5th was such a big day for LIDs, you would think that if the 5th was in, that someone would have gotten confirmation by now. If 30th is getting confirmation, then the 5th should be too if included.

Nov families in US & Canada LID up to the 30th have been called by (even conservative) agencies on Thursday and Friday to say that they’re in.
Have ANY December families been called by their agencies in any country to confirm that they too are in?
If not, I think we’re looking at a Nov 30 cutoff.

I agree - I think the 30th is it (this is an R3 ont the blog, BTW). Seems like several agencies have confirmed the 30th but I don’t know that any other date has been confirmed.

I haven’t had a good cry over referrals (or lack thereof) in a long time but if they only get to the 30th, that’ll be it for me. That would be shockingly depressing.
Of course I am thrilled for all of those who will get their happy news this month, you all certainly deserve it!

My agency has not said anything about the 5th being in but they never give out information anyway.
Catherinethegreat, it does say that it is an R3 that the cutoff is Nov 30. Thats what I was stressing at. This morning it said only an R2.

I have a November 30 LID and I won’t be able to celebrate until I get official word from my agency. This has been the most difficult wait. I’m having a hard time believing it’s finally my turn!
It doesn’t make sense that CCAA wouldn’t get a few days into December, but I’ve learned that some things about this process stopped making sense a long time ago.

I will be popping in and out tonight while we are travelling to my in-laws’. With an early January LID, I feel that this month’s referrals will be a tell-tale sign of when we will see our referral. For so long, we have been told that December LIDs were relatively small in number, so I have been thinking it will not take NEARLY as long to get through December as what it did through November. I guess only time will tell!
I will continue my prayer of miraculous movement in the CCAA for all you December people!

I agree that none of this makes any sense anymore. For instance, 11/22 was supposed to be such a big day for LID’s and during that match time, our agency only had 29 referrals. If this match only goes to the 30th, what does that mean? Was there an enormous amount of LID’s then too? Or not?
I just don’t get it. I think they are just matching small numbers of families willy, nilly… no rhyme nor reason, until after the olymics. Then things will start to pick up.
That’s my theory. But who really knows?

My quirky way of thinking- they will stop at the 30th and next month do 1/2 of Dec and then in Dec do 1/2- thus making it a 2 year wait- and there on in we shall see 1/2 months stretching the remainder of waiting families (except for March)to 3-4 years. As I type this- I am thinking it is way too positive of an outlook for December to be done in 2 months- but it just seems like it would be nice and tidy to finish up the year with a two year wait. I really do think the slow down was a calculated decision and there is a plan in mind. I am hoping to see some consistency again. I can’t believe I would be over the moon with happiness to think that 1/2 a month would be close to miraculous. Hoping for more than the 30th- but thinking that it is a long shot with the rumors that we are hearing. *SIGH*

Since we aren’t hearing anything more from agencies except “I think” with regard to a December cut-off date, let’s all be prudent and assume that the cut off is the 30th. :-(
