Not sure if my other post made it...I was told by a very reliable source-the olymics should not (are not?) affect the wait times.....I believe that anyone with LID of the first half of 2006 will get a match in 2008. That is just my personal guesstimate assuming that things do not slow down more which I do not think will happen.

Looking forward to RQs analysis. Usually the bad rumors stick so the 14th is probably it. I am wondering if RQ is going to "downgrade" the projections since horrid and bad case scenarios seem the norm now. I think bad case should move to mid or good......horrible should move to bad.....Yuck. And then we can have a new "horrible" case. As you can see I am quite cynical this morning.26weeks to LID so I project 26 more months. Yuck Yuc k

I'm touched that my Mom's letter was even a little bit helpful during this tough week -- I told her yesterday how I had "shared her" with others on this forum, and that I felt blessed to be able to have her words to share.

I also know I am blessed to be able to share, be supported, and get feedback online with others around the world who in the same boat (paddle boat??) with me -- rowing our way to China!

I have to wonder if this other European agency isn't just telling what they read on that "other" site. Who knows. What I do know is that if CCAA had been more forthcoming about the number of dossiers received each month vs. the number of paper-ready babies vs. the amount they're allowed to refer I might have a baby right now. Each time we discussed switching countries or trying IVF we decided against it because we thought it would be too close to our China referral. I'd like to shoot myself for being so naive! How could I have known though? If you're told 6-9 months and then oops all of a sudden 11-12 months and then oops maybe 20 months and now who the freak knows?!?!? Anyone could get confused no? So frustrating. On a nicer note I really enjoyed reading the letter from the future Grandma. It was so nice. I wish my Mom was more like your's.

Calamity4e,

oh please don't say that means a February referral for us 12-20-05'rs. I can't handle that one. I am also 12-20-05 and even with the horrid case we make it in January right??? I was secretly (or should I say foolishly) hoping for a dec referral. I can handle not getting one because I know it was a long shot. But as far as January is concerned, I can't see not being there.......Lets keep faith!!

ups...I meant it's an R3 at this point...
well...as hard as it is. let's make the effort of keeping a positive attitude.
really....to go in desparation does not help anything.
As hard is it is...it might be a constructive challenge, if seen under that light: the light of the challenge.
