Word coming in from two agencies is that the CCAA is still working on matching and nothing has been mailed yet.
Both seem to think that they will be mailed soon and that they will arrive sometime next week.

Not to be a wet blanket — but it seems to take them just as long to match 2 days as it does to match 4 or 5. I am not getting on the rollercoaster this month!

I’ve read how the matching room works but I don’t get why they are still matching would be good, or bad for that matter. Don’t they know how far they will get and then find the best matches…..Wouldn’t they have known a week ago how far they were going to get and now they are just completing the paperwork so to speak? Don’t mean to be contrary, just wondering…….

I personally think if they are still matching that rumors about the cut-off are not accurate because not all the ‘matchers’ are done….it may be that the 14th is accurate, but hard to say. I don’t think longer to match means more days…but then again, I could be wrong. I am with Becky..hoping for ‘lots of days’…

fjm – I had the same thought. I thought they had a cut off day well in advance of finalizing matching, but I’m still learning, so could be wrong. Anyway, hopeful for lots of days, and excited for those of you who are next!

the phrase “they are still matching’ — assuming its from the agency that often provides that bit of info ( mine) — usually means they are finished matching and just havent quite sent them all off yet. Because in the past it seems that when we hear ‘they are still matching,’ referrals come days later. at least thats how i remember it…
my point being also that i am sure a cutoff has been probably established by now…

I find it bizarre that no one has heard from their agencies that they are either in or out from the December group. Makes me believe that no one really knows yet. I agree wit you LJ I am hoping, praying for past horrid.

Not gonna hear from my agency as they don’t have any groups till January, then they have two…..
Haven’t we talked about CCAA matching further in advance, so isn’t it possible that the matching they are talking about is for the next group?
Now, I am being really dense here, but can’t figure out what “GPH” stands for…… oh I hope I’m not embarassing myself too much by saying this….. sorry ljsatx I’m confused. Oh, now I get it…… get past horrid…. :)

We are LID 12-9 so we know we are in , it’s almost not real. Any of you relate? It’s just been sooo long, it’s like something still may happen to not get in….

I can totally relate, premohler. We are LID 12-12-05 and still have those doubts from time to time. This whole process has been so up and down for 2 years now. We’ve seen things go really bad some months. But hang on…..it is real this time! You finally get to see that beautiful baby!

wow..I am a September folk…and as depressed as I am looking at the pase of all of this…this little bitty news makes me smile…
ohhhhhhh …… let’s hang in there….I feel so discouraged some times…
I look at December and think if it takes 3 months to do December….I am 9 months from December X 3…21 more month..after waitng already 14? Is that possible?? 35 months of wait?
