I hope so, it would be nice to have three days rather than one lowly day. Though, how sad is it that we’re HOPING for a three day batch? *sigh*

Well, it IS something… anything mentioned at this point is fantastic. It’s been too quiet for my taste. Knowing when we can expect to see the referrals would be as good, if not even better!

can someone explain to me why we would all of sudden expect only one day of LIDs to be included this month? i know it has slowed down, but not to that degree! the 22nd seems complelety reasonable to be included but everyone is acting like it’s a shock.

I think the 20th is expected to be a huge day. Numbers for that day alone are bigger than the rest of December combined. Many people were assuming we might only see one day referred this month!

Why was Dec 20th of 06 so huge? I can see Dec of 07, we were all trying to get our paperwork in before the new regs took effect, but what was happening in 06?

Actually, it’s ‘05 we are talking about. I think it’s just that agencies wanted to get files submitted before the end of the year. We hoped our dossier would make it to China and get logged in before the year closed, but they were still working on the whole group and waiting for some final documents from a couple of people. We ended up with a 1/10/06 LID.

I’m losing it. You’re right, Dec ‘05. Thank you. It was Dec ‘06 that we were all rushing to beat the new regs. I can’t even keep the years straight anymore! They better get a baby to me quickly before I go completely senile :)

To answer Bella’s Mom’s question in part: My large China only agency sends dossiers to china weekly. They had several DTC batches all logged in on the same day-yep, you guessed it-the 20th! It leads me to believe that the log-in staff was working overtime that day. There are several more times down the list where I see that multiple DTC groups are logged in on the same day!-so I’m hoping that the 20th doesn’t turn out to be too bad of a bottle neck. If so, we could be in for more

I for one can’t wait to hear anything regarding refs. Ingmark, hopefully the 22nd is included…yeah! but is not the cutoff. Come on 23rd!!!

Does anyone have a LID date in Dec. that is later than the 22nd? Let’s all cross our fingers and hope that we will finally be done with 2005 LID’s. Come on 2006

We are in the process of adopting a wc. We just received a LID of 1/25/08. How does our adoption process differ? We already have a little guy waiting to come home.

What about the rumor that the 30th will be the cut-off, and the other rumor that the 27th will be included? I would love to have a ranking of these very positive rumors.

I have noticed that people who are going to get referrals soon, are notified by their agency about the possibility. That someone with a 12-23-05 LID is hoping to be in tells me that they are probably not in this batch….or that their agency is in the dark. So depressing….

ziegsma- some agencies let their clients know if they expect them to be included or not, and some agencies do not have this practice

I love the wonderful rumors but I amso afraid it will only be 12/20 (great for the 12/20 LIDs though!) This wonderful news would fly in the face of everything (or little everything) that the CCAA has said. Oh well. I’m on the roller coaster.

We are the 23rd too. Is there a “site” for us December Log-Ins? It be very interesting to know if there were families with the same Log-In near us.

I truly pray and wish these referrals come soon. It has been such a long and trying wait for all of us. Hopefully, this year will be a much better one for everyone waiting. I know I have a wonderful wife who deserves a child and has waited for so long. Please, please come soon! LID 12-20-05

I have a 12/27 LID and while I would love, love, love to see the rest of December finished out, I am guessing they will only get to the 22nd. I hope I am wrong.

Just click on forum link on the right hand side of this page, then click on the General Discussion forum and you will see a place to asked to be added to our room.
