We now have 5 agencies saying that either the 27th is included or that the 27th is the cut off.
Some of these agencies rarely have information so I don’t really have a track record for them. But, with five agencies saying it, I think that’s good enough for an R4.

MAJOR YAY! Isn’t it strange that only a few months ago people would be down about an 8 day batch. Now it’s a major leap.
Roll on March referrals for Aussies next LID 12/28! You may have missed out this month but now you know for sure you’re next!

next month…A TWO WEEK BATCH! just wait….
we assumed that the ccaa’s promised speedup after the new year mean jan. 1. so we’ve been bummed. but, of course, the new year is still a week away for them….
i hope this ends up being a reminder that how we think of things isn’t the be-all and end-all.
of course, if we get 8 days next month, i’ll eat socks.

The 27th comes out as “bad case” on RQs projections but I think it is just wonderful. I am looking forward to the analysis after this referral comes in to see what RQ thinks of this “good” batch even though it’s technically bad case scenario.

I like the way you think, buzzbuzz. I remain cautiously optimistic. I know some people might think 8 days is nothing to get too excited about, but it’s the most that’s been referred since we were logged in (4/07). It’s also pretty good with the poll numbers. If we keep going at a pace of 7-8 days for a little while, I’d be ok with that. I’ve settled in for the wait, and love to see some movement that tells me there’s a light (a daughter!) at the end of this tunnel.
Oh! And congrats to all those expecting referrals in this batch, and to those who are next!

Thanks RQ for posting about the Face book Challenge, I know with you drawing this to everybody’s attention here, that we have the ability to do something great for those dear children who need surgery. It really is very easy to donate and what a difference it could make to some child awaiting surgery. Please everybody give a few dollars and a few minutes of your time. I’m crying I’m so excited. I had dismissed a February referral as not possible. Our agency told us it would be March. We’ve told our families March. I am filled with so much joy that our referral will be a surprise to everyone. Have I mentioned…I’m so excited. This moment makes it all okay.

8 days ,and we expecting only 1, great news for the dec LID’S congrats,and use your few weeks wisely,because once that little bundle comes home with you,WOW!!!
Our LID is 01/04/06 for our second lady,we have a nearly 5 yr old and she is just the best.Hopefully they will do another 8 days next month and it will be our turn.

I am so happy for the new mommies and daddies this time around! We have been home nearly a year now with our little one and I still get such a thrill wathcing the new babies come on the wings of the stork, but this time around I have some special friends that will see their little darling, so come on Mr. Stork We will keep the landing strip well lit for you!

It’s great for all the families that are in, and it’s certainly much better than the numbers that where mentioned earlier in the replies.
8 days is within the band with of the last 6 months, so all we can say is that there’s no significant change compared to the last half-year. I’d like to hear about that announcement of some months ago that CCAA would start referring 2 weeks each months, as of January 2008? It sounds too good to be true, but now that 2008 has started, what happened to that expectation?
