Wait Times

A European agency is reporting that the CCAA feels the wait will reach 3 to 4 years, and will begin to come down once they begin referring the May 2007 families.
Nothing we haven’t already heard, but it’s out there so I’m reporting it.

Matching has begun

Word has gone out from one of the larger agencies that matching has begun.
No word from them on a possible cut off, but if matching has begun then they should (theoretically) be mailed sometime next week.

Still hearing that the 22nd will be included.
Just to be clear, this rumor is not that the cut off is the 22nd, this rumor is that the 22nd will be included.
We’re still at the R2 level.

Sleep

After yesterday’s discussion about bed times I decided to do some research, according to Kidshealth.org, here are the sleep requirements for the various age groups:

6-12 Months: 14 hours a day (nap plus night)
1-3 years: 10 to 13 hours
Preschoolers: 10 to 12 hours
6-9 years: 10 hours
10-12 years: over 9 hours, up to parents to judge
Teens: 8 [...]
