Hi! We don’t have a blog but we are on pins and needles waiting for our call. I think I will just start a thread so that if anyone wants to see our baby, they can email me. Today should be the day!!!! Eveyone please cross your fingers and toes (but not your eyes) :) :) :)

Also on the weather in China , NOAA has a great site, just load and add china in the search and you can get real time for a lot of cities along with weather history for past hours/days. another question, Has any bi-racial couples , mainly AA and white adopted form china in the past year? Thanks

After over 2 years LID, we are expecting our referral today. We have no blog, but are extremely excited!
I could not rearrange my work schedule today, so after the “call” my wife will make the trek to the agency (1 1/2 hours away). We will open the package this evening.

For those of you following the winter storm updates in China and looking for ways to help, a new e-mail from Half the Sky states they are now going to expand their funds to orphanages not currently in their program. So, even if the orphanage you have in mind isn’t a HTS one, a donation to HTS Little Mouse fund may still help them out.

Congratulations to all who will or have seen their babies face for the first time! I get chills thinking of all of you even if I have never met you…As someone with a LID of 1/12/06, I say bring on January! Am I wrong to assume that, based on the poll results, January 1st and 2nd are essentially “free days” since the referral numbers for those days are pretty much none existent? I hope this helps with keeping the number of days at or above 7 per month. I am afraid to hope after all this time…but am excited nonetheless

Congratulations, new families!!! I’m actually very excited about an 8 day batch. Never thought I would be, but that’s more than a calendar week! It’s also SO WONDERFUL to see lots of blogs listed in this batch, and hopefully much more. I can’t wait to see the baby pictures. They really keep me going!

We have no blog so heres what, she is an absolute beauty, 19 months and a smile as big as the moon in the sky. Her name will be Ruby and shes in Xian cwi. We cant wait to get her home and give her everything she deserves in life. We are from Ireland and Ruby was one of 7 babies referred 3 were boys!!! Hope the wait shortens for everyone waiting and beleive me when I say this , when you see the photos for the first time you will forget about the wait and just start looking forward to the future.

I just wanted to wish all of the new Mommy’s and Daddy’s a big Congratulations. I still remember refferal day like it was yesterday. I am looking at all the beautiful announcements and lisnening to our little Rory playing and clapping to Dragon Tales behind me. There is nothing better than finally knowing that there is a baby out there meant for you and that they will come home soon. I am so Happy for all of you.

We received our referral this afternoon and it’s been quite a day to say the least. Zhang Bi Wan was born 6/17/07 and is in the Zhangshu SWI in Jiangxi province. We are absolutely thrilled and in love already. If you need to see some baby cheeks, you can get your fix on our blog!!! Pictures are up! Now I’m really tired….good tired finally.
