January 6?I’ve now got an agency and a social worker telling January 6 families that they may be in this batch. R1 or R2 at this point. Also, one agency with a pre-January 4 LID group has confirmed that they do not have anything on the way to them, yet.

Wow! Now this is an interesting twist…I guess I won’t be getting any work tomorrow either as I hit refresh on my computer. And it’s not even my month! I can’t even imagine what the early January folks must be feeling. I hope we hear something tomorrow.

Eeek. With a 1/5 LID, I’ve spent the last couple of days getting used to the idea of telling people probably next month. Now I have to hold the window open in my mind. It’s going to be an exciting couple of days. I can’t wait!!!

We can only cross our fingers. This month has so many twists and turns, that it is turning out to be a great mystery! I will be thinking of all of you who have Jan. 5th and 6th LID’s.

The only referrals I’ve been able to first-person verify are those of ex-pats living in China. What is reported in the forum is “someone posted on another yahoogroup”, with no other information. I have no way of knowing if this is an ex-pat or someone here in the states or someone in Europe or what.

Also, just a reminder that there is currently an R4 that the 4th is included, and that all other rumors are far from a sure thing at the moment.

With a 1-5-06 LID, I am crawling out of my skin right now. It’s impossible not to get at least a little excited over a shred of hope that we may be included this month!!

Wow…what an interesting month..is there any possibility that there could be different cut-offs for each agency…I hope NOT…and probably not; but stranger things have happenned…

But what about those folks (on the forum) who reported that they received official emails from their agency a few days ago, saying that the cutoff was the 4th?
I think there was more than one of them saying this, but maybe they were all from the same agency??? And maybe it was a mistake?
RQ, Just wondering if you know more about this. It sounded pretty official.
Really hoping for the 6th!

With a 1-12-06, *I’m* crawling out of my skin right now…and its not my month…altho if the 5th and/or 6th were to be included, it might make me feel hopeful for an April referral.
That would be so awesome, since our application to our agency went in the day after our April 8th wedding anniversary. (I had told hubby that was all I wanted for our anniversary that year… and he took our application to the post office to ensure it had the correct postage so it wouldn’t be returned to us!)

Ladies and Gentlemen please fasten your seatbelts and keep your hands, feet and heart inside the ride at all times, and be prepared for a bumpy ride. The roller coaster ride of IA is always unpredictable!

Dido patiently , It’s going to be an intresting couple of months as the CCAA deals with staff reduction and new online procedures, along with new congres starting this week , fall out from the snows and a worsening eonomic changes going on here and China. Sure wish we had moe of a front office heads up coming from China. And what about reviews? Last I heard was that they were still in October 06?

Yes Yes Yes Please Please Please BE BE BE the 6th…… I believe I believe I believe. A girl is allowed to wish the time away. For every single extra day it means we are all 1 day closer to our beautiful children.

We just received a call from our agency (Holland) that we have a proposal (LID January 4th). We have to wait about two weeks for the proposal to be translated before we know gender, age, province, etc.
But as you can imagine, we are over the moon with the news so far!
Good luck to everybody who is waiting for the proposal. We can’t wait to see the pictures

Here in Spain an association of adoptants (AFAC) says that they can confirm that the official cut day is 4th.

The next LID of our agency is January 11th. I don’t know if that date is in or out. The agency usually has an update published the day after they call with the news. We’ll keep RQ updated.
