Where things stand
Most agencies that are talking are saying the cutoff is January 4th. However, a few agencies are telling their 5th and 6th people that they are included as well. I don’t really know what to make of it at this point. It seems more likely the cut off is the 4th, but then we have these other agencies who think it’s going to go beyond, so… I dunno.
I have two reports of European agencies receiving their referral shipment overnight, so it’s looking pretty good that we’ll see them landing today everywhere else as well. These two agencies have LID’s for the 4th or before, so that doesn’t really tell us much about the cut off.

I am ready to get my call!! After waiting so long, it seems so surreal that we are talking about our date!

I hope they reach the 6th and its great they have reached 2006.

I am soooo excited that I feel numb. My husband and I are in Disney World right now waiting for the call! Our agency told us several weeks back not to expect our referral until Mar/Apr – so this was our last trip on our own. If we receive it today (please!!!) we plan on celebrating in “China” at Epcot this evening.
Congratulations to everyone receiving a referral this round – and to all of those waiting – hang in there! I never believed I would see this day. IT WILL HAPPEN.

I hope that they make it to the 6th–every additional day they can include helps so much!
I also hope that this batch of referrals also includes TAs for those of us STILL waiting from the last batch!!!

Do you think that the multiple cut off dates and the disappearance of the “box” from the CCAA site are related events? Without the box, the CCAA is not necessarily bound to one cut off date, and could match some agecnices ahead of others. Not that they are showing favoritism, but maybe some agecenies didn’t have any on the 4th, so they got matched to the 6th. Just a thought.

Wings- Ours is one of the agencies that is hoping to have referrals in this batch for 1/6, their only LID day since 12/27. What you describe is exactly the situation that would have to exist. I see it not so much as favoritism, as much as releasing partial days if it’s the agency’s only date. Who knows? I guess we’ll all see later today.

Man,,, is it the 4th or the 5th, maybe even the 6th? This referral is one of the more interesting roller coaster rides we’ve had in a while… Best wishes for everyone! Come on referrals!

Well, I just got an email from our social worker. She talked to our agency this morning and they said the cutoff is 1/4. (This is a US agency.) The next LID for my agency is 1/5.

I spoke to the agency that had the 1/6 LID and actually it was a 1/5 LID. They got mail but not referrals.
Sorry guys but we are approaching near certainty that 1/4 is the cutoff. Unless……….no referrals show today but I think they will.

We just got the call!!!
My daughter was born on 7/2/07 in the province of Jiangxi. Her name is Xian – Rong Long. Maybe I got the middle name wrong, I didn’t think there were any “R’s” in China. We’ll finally see a picture lady today!!!!

wings you and I are on the same page, was wondering if they are more doing individual agencys now rather than trying to handle everybody in order, On one side it would make it easier to keep agency groups together, on the other side they are going to start hearing a lot of flack from those who feel slighted by being made to wait. But as it has always seemed to be in the past “It’s their ball and their bat”

CONGRATULATIONS!! MARLO2B, I am hoping there are some jan 5 and 6th for some agencies included. Just moves more out of the way for the next Batch. I can’t believe I am wishing my life away for the beginning of April. Such a long wait and now I feel so much pressure and I am not in this batch. carolfl17 – “keeping it together” while you wait for the call is a completely unrealistic expectation :) Find something mindless, but active, to do, like dusting (don’t vacuum – you might not hear the phone – LOL). I was working the day we received our call – needless to say, I got nothing done. Enjoy this day – there is nothing in the world like it! Congratulations to everyone about to see their precious child’s face for the first time. 19 months after our call, I STILL tear up on referral day!

I’m a mommy!!! I received ‘the call’ 1:45PM (Small agency in NY) My daughter was born April 13, 2007. Her name is Chong Yu Duo. She’s the only baby from my travel group from Chongren County SWI, Jiangsxi!!!!
