November and December out of ReviewTwo agencies now report that the box has changed to show that LID’s through December 31, 2006 have been reviewed. I’ve updated the History Page. As you can see from the graphic shown below from that page, these two months don’t even come close to the longest time in Review.

I am soooooo relieved for those of you with Nov/Dec LID’s. Congrats, congrats, congrats.
PLEASE let the next message come soon - “Jan/Feb 07 out of Review”. I am still so nervous (LID Feb 07) that I plan on having a HUMUNGOUS PARTY when we get through review.

Just a quick reminder, it is not unusual for people to realize the review room has questions for them a few weeks after the box changes. This is because sometimes the questions don’t get mailed right away, and then when the agency gets them the correspondence has to get to the right person at the agency before the family is notified.
I don’t want to be a party pooper, but every couple of months I hear that someone finds out about questions a few weeks after they thought they were clear, since the box had changed and they were included.

A couple of agencies are insisting that the box on the CC*AA site has NOT been updated with this information.

I remember that always present underlying low-grade fear that was with me until I cleared the review room. With so many changes that have occurred with China adoption, making it through this step is indeed, a cause for celebration. A hearty congratulations to all my Nov and Dec friends. Finally, 2006 is done! Phew!

Huge wave of emotions!! WOO HOO!! I had to call my agnecy to verify and it’s TRUE!!! This may really happen!! Somedays I have wondered!! Congrats to the other LID’ers and Good Luck to the ones behind us, it will come!!

Australia is still on Oct 31 2006. It is a long weekend here but hopefully in 3 days when offices reopen the govt may ask CCAA what’s going on. They dont like being ‘pushy’ & usually just let whatever happens, happen. Hopefully for all our sanity they may just contact CCAA this time?

I thought questions came to the agency by fax ? If people are asked questions after the portal has changed, it may be a mistake (forgot to send it to the agency) or something else … Isn’t there a doc that reviews the dossiers also at the CCAA ?

I just want to say thank you to everyone who leaves such positive messages. I am LID 10/1/06, and I still feel things are so far away before we get our baby. It was a relief to get out of review - and congrats to everyone out there who has made it. You all make me feel there is a light coming. I hope matching starts rolling along soon too!
