Moonlight
My favorite show has a new episode tonight, I can’t wait. Mick as a human? The promo shows him on the beach, eating real food, with Beth. You can see one of the promos here.
Yeah, I know, I’m a geek. But I really only watch two shows now, Numb3rs and Moonlight. So I guess I can be a geek about one of them.
In other news, there really isn’t any. No agencies are reporting TA’s are on the way, no agencies are reporting that matching has begun, and no one is speculating about a cut-off date.

Happy to see the review room is out of ‘06. We are next! LID 1-07. Just one thing to get off my chest today. We had a meeting at the agency a little while ago. There were couples there with LID April/May of 2007 who think they are getting babies around the end of 2009. (They were told the wait is 24-30 months). YES, but that is for early 2006 people. I know we will be around 2011 or so and I accept it. I would rather know the truth then be heart-broken. I think there people could have almost a 5 year wait. Acoording to RQ, there were 38,000 dossiers before them. At this point, I think the agencies need to let people know what is going on. It is not fair to them. I didn’t say anything because I don’t feel like it is my place to do so. I don’t think I will go to any more meetings. It is too upsetting. Any comments?

I’m really looking forward to Moonlight too. I’ll probably be melting within the first 10 minutes of the show. I guess I can be a bit geeky as well! Okay now, come on rumors!!!

Here’s the rumor I’D LIKE TO HEAR: “Agencies reporting a 30 day batch”!!!! We get one of those, and drinks are on me. I’ll set up the site!

My wife and I watch Lost like some people attend church…religiously. It gets better and more confusing with each new episode. I am hoping we can watch Lost from China a few days before we get our Leia.

Does any feel the same way I do about this TV year, I kinda feel like it was the DREAM SEASON of DALLAS, like it never really happened. My two favorite shows I never could get into. CSI Vegas and House. OH well perhaps next year.
I have been saying this about the addoption, “perhaps next year”…

I saw the promo-have never seen the show-after seeing the guy walk on the beach with his shirt open…I think I will be watching tonight!!!!!! What a hottie!!

You are not alone, I love, love that show. If you like that you might also enjoy Amsterdam. If you don’t know the show, its about a guy who was kissed by an indian woman centuries ago. And he hasn’t aged since. He won’t age until he finds his one true love.

Yikes. I have never even HEARD of either of these shows. Just goes to illustrate: being Single With Two means NO TIME FOR TV, LET ALONE ME!!! LOL!! And I wouldn’t change a THING. Congrats to everyone now out of the Review Room!!! You’re One Step Closer!!

TV? Someone actually gets to watch TV and they have kids???? What the….
I’m lucky I get to watch Glenn Beck. About the only show I get to watch anymore.
My coordinator at the agency emailed me and asked where she could get in touch with me - we’re LID 01/16/06. Maybe that’s a good sign. But I still don’t believe we’re going to see a referral for that date until June.
I love my spam word! HUNAN! That’s where our first daughter was from.

I have never seen Moonlight but I have seen the lead actor and would love to catch some of it. TV Guide raves about it and him. Are there any shows online so that you can catch back episodes? I hate to come into a movie in the middle. Keeping fingers crossed for at least three days this month. Can you tell that our LID is 1/12!

I LOVE the show as well! He is such a hottie with a personality to boot! I was suppose to leave town for the weekend but am stuck home due to a snowstorm. Happy I get to watch it live tonight! You can catch a few full episodes on CBS.com.

do you think the lids will move faster in Feb. since they most likely did not do any lids during the New Year celebration, aren’t they closed for 2 weeks?

Italyblues - I have been wondering the same thing.
Once we get to the end of Jan (I believe the New Year in 2006 started Jan 29th?) then it would make sense that there is one month where we would see at least a 14 day batch just becasue of the fact that they are closed for at least one week with a weekend on either end of that??
I know it doesn’t really mean they are picking up but it would get through a bunch of days at once!!!
RQ - what do you think about this?? does anyone know how long they were closed for in 2006??

All I want to say about the rumours, I was told by a reliable source, that the people with LIDs beginning like the first four to five months of ‘07 could be getting their referrals by the end of ‘09.

Are you serious? who is the reliable source? Is it an agency or someone you know? I would love to know how they know. What do other people think? We are June 2006 and thought we would be going in 2010!

Love to hear TV talk. It is a big distraction from the long wait. It is sometimes more than I can physically bear. TV stinks. However, I am completely addicted to my Friends’ DVDs . Thanks so much for the distraction.

Watched Sophia Myles tonight on Craig Ferguson and had to come post here. Her first name is pronounced with a long I, and she’s a vicar’s daughter from Notting Hill! Yeah, she’s British! She also said that Alex O’Loughlin is an Aussie! I had no idea. They do such great jobs with US accents, I thought they were from here.
I wish Mick’s humanity could have lasted a couple more episodes but how he decided to revert was huge. Am very happy they’re finally getting together.
