LID’s around CNY

Some people have asked how things will go when we reach the 2006 Chinese New Year.
The simple answer is that over the long term it doesn’t really matter.
In the short term, if your LID is within a week or two of when the CCAA arrived back at work, then it will probably make a difference in how you figure things. But for everyone else, probably not.
Yes, we will see a big jump from January 28 to February 5, but at some point the CCAA had to log in the people who would have been LID on those days, so things may go slower as we get through the time just before and just after their holiday.
I’ll be around for most of the day today, so if anyone hears a rumor, please send it to me.

I hate to be one to say this, but we are not talking about last year’s CNY. We are actually looking at CNY from 2 years ago. UGH!
I should know because we were LID 2/17/06. So close, yet so far …

Pootiepie - you are right. I changed it. Thanks.
It is Monday. Looks like it will be all day, too.

With an LID of Feb. 9/06 the 2006 CNY has relevance to me. Sincerely hoping for a bit of a jump once the CCAA gets there…Fingers crossed.
