Happy Mother’s Day!!!
May everyone have a wonderful Mother’s Day today.
My girls started showering me with extra attention yesterday, and today promises to be even better.
Today I get to honor my mother while having my girls show me how much they love me.
I know how hard the day can be for those waiting. I’m sorry. Maybe try to do something you won’t be able to do once you have a child at home? A day of very loud sex. Or a day of movies you couldn’t take kids to. I know, it’s not the ideal, but the day is what you make of it, right?

RQ,
Thanks for the comment about those of us still waiting. I just say what I have for the past three Mother’s Days, “Next year will be the last without our baby…Next year we will walk the race for the cure…”
You have a super day as well! Thanks you for all you do for the mothers of the babies from China.
Very loud sex! You are too funny! It is Mother’s day, not Father’s day. Well, if I must…..

luvluv~ thanks for the laugh:)
I would like to share Mother’s Day with all of you, who are waiting to become a Mom. Your perserverance and devotion throughout this process shows that you are already very much a Mom so know that you are not forgotten on this day.

I am trying to remain hopeful on this the 3rd Mother’s Day since our LID so here are my hopes! I hope that for those that have withdrawn their NSN dossiers that they have become parents through other means or have found peace with their decision. I hope that the moms in China who must part with their babies know in their hearts that they will always be remembered in ours. I hope that for those of us who are still waiting we will remember that we will hold our babies one day. And finally, I REALLY hope that we see larger referral batches so that GOTCHA! Day comes sooner rather than later! LID 3/14/06

Happy Mother’s Day to all! :)
I don’t know if this has been mentioned but there is an interesting article in the newest issue of MacLean’s Magazine (dated May 19th, 2008) about China adoptions. The article is titled “The End of International Adoption?/Bursting the Chinese Bubble.”
It is eye opening and even mentions ‘Rumour Queen’. I would be interested to know what everyone thinks….the article is available to be read on their website.

Happy Mother’s Day, RQ! And to all you moms and moms-to-be. RQ is right- the day IS hard when waiting. I encourage you to go to a nice restaurant and to the movies. Those are the two things we can’t do with kiddos in tow. We’ve been home two months and when my husband asked what I wanted for Mother’s Day, I knew immediately! A nap!!! I’m headed there now!

Happy Mother’s Day! Although I am NEW to posting to RQ, I check in everyday…..we are DTC right now. We’re prepared for the wait….no kids yet & we’re young. There’s my positive spin. (:
I gave my “four legged kids” (2 cats, 2 dogs) kisses on the noses and told them thank you for letting me be there Mommy….
We’re ALL mommies in our own special way! Have a WONDERFUL MOTHER’S DAY!

Happy Mum’s Day to all of you who (like me) are finally celebrating your first Mother’s Day. Last year we had a referral photo—-this year a very active 20 month old!! The wait was long but oh-so worth it!
Hang in there all you Mums-to-be who are waiting–your dream will come true–it really will!!!

Happy Mothers Day!
To all waiting mom’s and already mom’s!
The world is going to be a better place because of us-I truly believe that. Today, I thank my biological mom who gave me up and my mom who adopted me-the most amazing woman in the world. I also thank the mother of my daughter to be & I pray that she finds comfort and peace knowing that I will love and care for her baby!
With all of the horrible things that go on in the world, take a moment to be thankful for all you have! Oh, and yeah, have some crazy, wild, loud sex!

The waiting is a nightmare, but we are all parents-in-waiting! We WILL have our babes in our arms ONE DAY!

After 5 years if waiting to celebrate Mother’s Day with a child, I have to say that it was an incredible weekend - my husband and daughter and immediate family members really showed how much they love me and how happy they are for me and for our little family, and I am so thankful.
