Usually, how long is it (after matching has begun) before we receive referrals? Anyone have an idea?

There have been times we’ve heard that morning that they were matching and then referrals started arriving that evening or the next day.
And then sometimes it can be 10 days after we hear it before they actually arrive.

Sooo glad the site is up & runnign again. Just on time!! Well done RQ!
Hopefully early next week there’ll be happy tears all around the world again! A decent sized batch would be great but I’m not holding my breath.

It’s interesting that someone posted in the forum almost a week ago (May 22) that their agency said that matching had begun. So, we could see referrals anytime or, alternatively, not for another week or more. You’d think, after two+ years of waiting, I’d have all this straight by now. That said, I sure miss The Box on the CCAA website. Atleast that was something solid, concrete.

…okay…let’s shot for the moon!!!!!…come on CCAA let’s get to January 23rd, 2006 or beyond….let’s see some serious movement…babies are waiting to be placed and parents are waiting for their families to take form…

With an LID of 1/27/06 we know we are not included in the upcoming referrals. However, this referral’s cutoff date will go a loooooong way in determining just how exciting July’s referrals could possibly be!

We also have an LID of 1-27-06 and we asked our agency a couple of months ago when they thought we may receive our referral and back then they said possibly in July, so it is getting VERY exciting!! Congrats to all those who will see their little ones faces soon!
and ford here is to hoping we are next after this batch or definitely we will be in the next after the next batch!!!! Am I making any sense, oh well i am just so pumped that referrals are coming!!

Can’t wait to see what’s to come! We are LID 1/19/06…could it possibly be that we’ll have a picture soon? After so long, it’s nice to see some light at the end of the tunnel!

RQ when do you expect TA’s to start coming in?

We got our TA last Friday and I saw a number of other folks from the last month’s referrals did as well on blogs and yahoo groups. Yours should be coming!

Was wondering if January 2007 was out of the review room? Previous posts have stated that it was and I was just wondering.
With an LID of 11-23-07 will there need to be updates information for our file before it is reviewed.

We received our TA yesterday. Sent in for US Con. appointment.
Today we were told by the CCAA that our adoption is on hold until further notice due to it being “Dangerous for workers to go to work in Chengdu and therefore they can not do the paper work.”
We were told that all adoptions for the Sichuan province are on hold.

Our baby is in the Sichuan province but not in Chengdu. She is in Chongking. I so hope this does not affect us.

My daughter is also from Chongqing Municpality. Chongqing is adjacent to Sichuan Province but was made a separate juridiction in 1997 (it reports directly to Beijing). It has a separate registration office and I have a close friend who meets regularly with the head of that office and it is business as usual there - although they are working hard to raise money to assist quake orphans and the displaced in general. Although the original quake and the aftershocks have been felt there it has been business as usual in Chongqing.

Magnolia’s friend - THANK YOU so much for the update!! With as many things that has happened in the past few weeks I needed some good news!! Thanks again!! Her papers said Sichuan province but now that you mention that I do believe someone had told me about Chongqing being seperate now!!
