Happy Independence Day!!!

First, there are conflicting reports from Europe. I see one person reporting referrals arrived at an agency, but then a whole bunch of people saying that they did not. I’ll look in on things again in a few hours and see if there is anything more concrete. Also, I’m now moving the rumor that the 25th is the cut off up to an R4.
For all of the Americans out there, I hope you have a wonderful day filled with lots of family, sun, fun, and food.
Our menu this afternoon includes hamburgers, gardenburgers, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, and grilled veggies (squash, zuchini, onions, and broccoli with lots of butter and seasonings baked in foil packets on the grill). I can’t wait.
GG and I had a long talk yesterday about Independence Day. Talking to her is quite an experience. Kids just have this way of drilling through a matter and getting to the heart of it.

The weather is great in southern California, and we have a lot of the day left to celebrate. This is one of my favorite holidays as it has great meaning to me to be free. Happy 4th of July everyone!
