Not Much

One agency with LID’s of Feb 9 has informed their people they should get their referral in October. From what I can tell though, this is not something they have heard from the CCAA, they are just guestimating.

Two agencies confirm that matching has not yet begun.

I am right there with you Nina. We are LID 2/6/2006. It’s hard to believe we are that close.
I have never been pregnant, but I feel like my water just broke and I have no where the hospital is. :)
Come on referrals…let’s get this party started!

My agency states that they are reviewing March now at least for our agency.

…that makes total sense..I’m expecting September referrals to get till 7th or 8th of Feburary 2006….and October referrals should go until Feb14th or so..based on a six day month…

….By the way RQ when are we going to do another Poll??? It has been a while since we did one…??

It’s my understanding that the CCAA was closed from Jan 28 – Feb 6th, 2006 for Chinese New Year’s, yes? So if they refer through Feb. 8th this month, even though it looks like an 8 day month, in actuality, it’s only 2 “real” days worth of LID’s, just like last month. *sigh*

I’ve got to say, I wouldn’t be shocked if we don’t get a September batch. With the Olympics (and the upcoming Paralympics), they have had a bunch of interruptions. Referrals seem to have also been coming a day later in the month each month…maybe they will combine months and send out a HUGE batch the last week of September? I know that would STINK for those of you who are next, but it would SO lift my spirits to see a 15-day batch at the end of the month.

Anonymouswait….I am totally aware what an “8″ day month looks like versus only a “2″….It is a huge psychological version of “smoke and mirrors” on China’s part…..but for those of us who are near…movement of any kind is getting us closer to our goal….please remember this when it gets close for you…and your LID

Maranara…I don’t see China CCAA not sending referrals for the month of Sept…they are up 5 days with the Chinese NY…so they only have to match a few days….I think it’s in the bank…either way…

cjsusper…..Well I think you can honestly consider yourself as pregnant as anyone…congratulations…everytime I got pregnant…I would get extremely tired, have the sorests “tata’s” possible, mild headache and absolutely heave with the smell of coffee….What are your “paper pregnant signs????” I bet it includes a couple of trips to this web site, day dreaming about “goccha day”…and the sweetest little girl ever….Once again congrats…

  10. anonymouswait Says:

Um, mumarlene, how can you be sure it’s not close to our LID? We’re less than 2 weeks out ourselves, hence the *sigh* on my post.

  11. cjsuper Says:

mumarlene–thanks! My recent paper pregnant signs are crazy cravings for Huber Farm Fried Chicken. If you have ever had it–you would know why!Good stuff! Yes, John and I day dream quite a bit. I told my workplace that I was going to be worth nothing once we receive our referral! Thanks for your encouragement!!!

I know that it was predicted last year that this year would only contain January and February 06, so I was expecting this year to be slow. I wonder if there are any reliable predictions for the 2009 wait.

I think we have alot of paper hormones going on here. :Self included and we’re LID 12/06 !!!

I remember while we were waiting to travel to get our DD in 2004, I started craving potatoes. Baked, mashed, fried – I couldn’t get enough! Now we are waiting on our LOA for our son, and I am craving Kashi Pumpkin Flax granola bars. I’ve already had two today, and it’s not noon yet! I also spend an inordinate number of hours on the internet – especially RQ – looking for clues on those LOA’s and crossing my fingers for big referral batches for everyone else!
