Wonderful news! Does anyone know how many actual days of referrals were in this batch, because wasn’t CNY in the time frame as well? Just wondering is all! I always love this time of the month! Bring on those baby posts.

Yes, CCAA was one week off for the CNY holiday and returned back on the 6th (monday). So this batch is four actual LID days.

Can we find out the LID of the person who has received “The Call”? Just hoping its 2/9! The reason I’m asking is my agency is saying that the information system has not been updated but they are trying to find out if referrals have been mailed and what the cutoff might be!

OMG I can’t believe how close we are! It is hardly unimaginable that we could be getting our referral in as early as 2-4 months! Holy cowabunga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! This is awesome news! Even though we know that 5 of these days had no LIDs, a 9 day batch does wonders for my mental state!!! We could be 4-6 months away from our big day!!! Congratulations to everyone expecting a referral in this batch. Some of you have contributed squares to my daughter’s quilt. It’s hanging on our wall and I’m thinking of you every time I walk past it!!! Enjoy your day-you so deserve it!!!

I have word that there are expected to be some referrals for expedited families in this batch, though no word on what date they may get through for the expedited families.

2006 seems like a million years ago already…. Help me remember. The CCAA was closed from January 28, 2006 thru February 5, 2006, correct? Those receiving referrals today would have technically only been LID on 02/06, 02/07, 02/08, and 02/09, right?
Any referrals are good, no matter how many or how few as wee ones are soon to be with their new families. We always need to celebrate! But I think the dates are a little more misleading than we sometimes realize at first blush.

queen_with_3_pigs – I’m not sure I agree. Agencies would still be submitting dossiers those days that the CCAA was closed, and they would get queued up and all logged in on the 6th, correct? Maybe I am wrong, but I would think that is the way it would work, which is why the 6th was such a large day. So really, there are a lot of LIDs in this batch. Just my 2 cents.
Also, as for the cutoff in the middle of the Chinese New Year – I think there were a few LIDS on those days from folks who were questioned in the review room and their LID was pushed back.

A record 22 days while the olympics where going on. Anyone else think that after all the talk of delay around the Olympics that this a little strange. It goes to show how little our agencies know.
