Silence
Okay, the silence is getting annoying now. Seriously annoying. There are no new rumors about the cut off.
And I’m coming down with something, which probably has a lot to do with me being annoyed. I tend to get annoyed at pretty much everything when i don’t feel good. Just what I need, feeling like crud when tonight is Halloween.
I’ll be in and out today, so if anyone has a rumor then try to put it in general terms in the comments and then email me the specifics, please.

Choosing happy thoughts here that we will get more matched this month than just through the 20th due to the delay. Yes, I know this is wishful but it’s like my DH always tells me — “They have the capability of doing a month at a time. . why not this month?”

Just got word from my agency..they’ve heard from the CCAA that they are at the current moment still in the process of matching.

So if they’re still matching they still might not know the cutoff……I’m happy with that!!
RQ- If I were you I’d take LOTS of Vitamin C like 1,000 mg and you’ll feel more energetic and fight off this bug better.

This was posted on our agency’s site today:
“Many of you are aware of the melamine situation in China. [Name of agency deleted] has been keeping very close tabs on this issue and are very concerned with the health of the children in the orphanages and the children that are home. We are currently advising that all children brought home after 2005 be taken to the physician and be tested for melamine poisoning.”

For the record, I object to the use of the term “contaminated.” It suggests it was an accident. This is a chemical that was deliberately added, making the word “poisoned” more appropriate.

2 years ago to the day the rumors were eerily quite; we’re talking none…and referrals were about 5 days “late.” But on Nov. 2nd the CCAA updated their box and included more days than EVER imagined, including a day NO ONE thought would be included! The next day we saw our daughter’s face for the first time! Could this year be the same?

Hello,
I am new to posting. Our agency told me the other day that the CCAA is saying that things will speed up after referrals through 3.09.06 are given. This means some time early next year things will speed up.
Has anyone else heard this. Please post if this is not true. I had my hopes raised for the last week thinking this was true, but then I come to this site and there is no talk about it. I am thinking it is NOT TRUE.

Considering how many times there has been talk about a speed up here but never ever being true, I’d guess this is another false one. But I’d be Oh so happy if it’s true!!!

On the other hand, there are some pretty hefty LID’s between now and March 9th, and not too many after that date (based on the ongoing poll). Maybe that also holds true for your agency, and that is what they are basing it on . . .

The reason I beleived this is because they are very conservative with information. We are with [agency name removed] and I think they are well connected.
I really hope other agencies are saying similar things.

This doesn’t make sense to me, because there are 11 days (based on the lastest RQ polls results thus far) with 20 or more familes and only two of those days are before the 3/9. Nine of the 11 20+ days are 3/14 or later.

I want more rumors NOW!!! This silence is not good for my nerves :-) Want to know if we are in this batch or not. Want to know if it’s a boy or a girl, age, pictures… This is really frustrating.

FxBrknHrts- Probably infestation if it’s anything like what we’ve seen! I had been seeing a ladybug or two around the house for a week or so, then I walked out the other day to see them EVERYWHERE! Tons of them, they were covering our house. I took some pictures and posted it to our blog, but I could never capture a picture of them all because they were flying around everywhere.
I told my husband that it was probably wishful thinking, but I hoped that meant something good for referrals:)
