Not Much
While I don’t have anything concrete, as in dates… I am seeing information that means we should hopefully make it to at least the “Spring Small” date from my projections, which means we should (assuming what I’m hearing is correct) make it to at least the 23rd. There is even hope that we’ll make it to the Horrid case of the 27th.
None of this gets an R rating at all at this point. Nothing is really concrete enough to put a rating on.

My completely unfounded-with-nothing-to-substantiate-it prediction is that they finish out most of February this month. I just have a feeling that most of Feb will be done, and January will give us the last couple of days in Feb and the first couple of days in March. Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but I just don’t see them taking all of 2009 to refer March 06. I really have a feeling that people are going to be pleasantly surprised (well, as pleasant as any of this can be at this point.) For some reason, I’m starting to feel hopeful again for everyone waiting.

Time for the Holiday Miracles! Let’s get to the 27th at least with this next batch, and lets have 3 batches between now and January 10th that take us through March 10th! Then, by the time we all come up for air after the holidays, hundreds will be preparing to travel!! But for now, time to be thankful for all that we have, including RQ!

I still say you need to change what is good and bad. In today’s economy we don’t call a depression a recession. In sizes, a size 10 today was a size 12 20 years ago.
The way things are now, the “Horrid Case” sounds pretty good. You can’t compare things from 5 years ago in China adoption to the way things are now.

Thank you Rumor Queen…I am beyond hopeful that this may finally be it, and we will see our little girl in December. We have so much to be thankful for.

If the cut-off is the 23rd, even though that will be five days, it would still be smaller than last month in terms of number of RQ families. That would be really bad. I’m wondering how much lower our expectations can go!!!!!!!!!!! ;-(((((((((

I just don’t know what to think anymore. Yesterday after reading some thread on the forum about an agency director’s observations in China, I was convinced I should give up on this quest (with a LID of Nov. ’06). Yet I come back today and see some people managing to stay positive, and it is so tempting to get pulled back in. . .

OMG! Are you kidding? Almost 4 years later and we very well may see our daughter for the first time next week! LID 2/23/06! There are no words to describe how that feels! I really thought (and still don’t want to get my hopes up) that it would be Jan!!!! If this happens I will be posting her all over the internet (safely of course!)…Good luck to all of those waiting with us!

What I am saying is MAYBE, just maybe China was planning on 36 months this whole time. I think it has to get better or people will stop even trying to adopt from China at all and this will only add to the long list of problems…..

I consider myself a positive person. I have also been watching all of the numbers very closely for over two years. I think it will take to the end of next year (2009) to get through all of February 2006 and March of 2006. But then hold on to your hats. 2010 is going to be flying through those months. I just know it. Hang in there!!!!

1) click on Forum under Site Navigation on the right column
2) click on General Discussion
3) Click on the thread titled “If you’d like to be in a LID group…”
4) reply to the thread and post that you would like to be added to the “Feb 2006″ (or whatever your LID falls in) Private group and give your LID.
