We don’t have a blog but are hoping for a referral in this batch (3/7, skipped, not sure we’re in). Not to be a noodge, but I’m getting anxious that there’s been no further sign of calls coming in. Anyone? Trying not to fret, but having gone through torment last month I’m trying to manage expectations here.

No news yet for me, so I broke down and called my agency, they did not take my call but promised to call in a couple of minutes. The lady sounded definative and serious so I am taking that as a good sign that perpaps I hear in a minute or so. Fingers Crossed and toes….

We just received our long awaited phone call!!! We are thrilled!! We delayed our adoption due to the birth of our daughter Chloé in October… and now we are so excited to have been matched (LID 2/28/06.) I’m speechless!!! We have a major U.S. agency and I think they’ve made all of their calls now!! Wahoo!!

Our Canadian agency has confirmed the arrival of our referrals (LID March 14) and they will provide us with details as soon as the files are translated. This is going to be a very long night.

I always love referral day, but today it’s especially touching to me…four years ago today I got my call for my beautiful Katie, and spent the next six weeks memorizing every nuance of those three little photos. thanks everyone for your kind words about us being skipped…it was horrible and sad, but after I saw her face, I completely forgot I was skipped. I think everyone in my batch that got skipped feel the same! I can’t describe how you will all feel when you get your little ones. Incredible!!!!!!

Is anyone else in my situation? I have a log in date of 03/14/06 (as do a few others at my agency) and our agency has not received a referral package yet.
I see that there are a few others listed on RQ as waiting for a referral, but after checking out their blogs, they have received referrals, but are not ready to share the details yet.
I hope I am not in the new group of “missed” referrals…UGGHHH!

Lucky7 — My agency has 3/14 LIDs and has not yet received a package. I am also waiting (3/7 skipped) but now do not expect to hear anything until Tuesday at the earliest. Hang in there!

Do you have confirmation that you have a referral on its way? Or, is your agency still waiting for the 3/7 skipped referrals as well as the 3/14 referrals? I hope that you, as a 3/7 family, have some sort of assurance that your referral is “in flight”. In either case, your patience has probably never been tested this hard!!!

Please add us to the list of referrals received! Our older daughter (age 6) is excited to be a big sister! She is even more excited to travel back to China to see it…again.
