The only drawback is that if the Shaker is for a 512 MB, it will only hold 512 MB of music -- regardless of the size of the card you buy. I bought a 2G, thinking all of my girl's music could go on it, and the Shaker won't play it. So I've created a couple of cards (and a card with nighttime music to sleep by), so we have some variety when we travel or stay overnight somewhere. We can play songs for the whole family to listen to and sing along to, together. You can't do that with an MP3 player that only plays through earbuds. Well, there are external speakers for them, but you know what I mean. We can take it camping and all of us can listen to the songs together, it's not GG in her own world with her music, it's a family thing. Yeah, that’s another good thing about it. I was going on a trip and didn't have money to spend on an iPod. let me tell you - that little thing has held up great! I still have it.
