No New Rumors, and Kai-lan merchandise
I’ve made the rounds and do not see any new rumors.
If you haven’t seen all of the new Kai-lan toys
I am still sick, though getting better. The fever still pops back up occasionally, and just walking across the room makes my legs feel as if I’d hiked five miles. If I were well I would probably be talking about the Kai-lan stuff, not just pointing out that it exists. Maybe we can talk about it later. Or ya’ll can talk about it today in the comments.
I will be around today, in and out, to watch for rumors. If anyone hears something, please let me know.

I just purchased the Kai Lan Color Wonder set on Amazon. There is also a great dragon dance book that has a 3D fabric dragon that runs through each page.

Target has a ton of Kai-Lan merchandise now. We have only bought one of the soft dolls. My DD loves it. She picked out the one that said “Silly.” There are some clothes up to size 5T as well. But the shirt we wanted was out in the size we needed. So we have stuck to the toys right now. I think it made her happy to have a doll like one she sees on a TV show and that has black hair like her.
It came with a necklace too and she really liked wearing it.

I love the new toys but do find they alittle expensive but so worth the money.

We bought the Megablocks Dragon Boat set at Target (stuff is MUCH cheaper at Target than on Amazon)-DD/DS likes it as daddy is doing dragon boat races next weekend. We also purchased the bubble machine. It works okay and kids like it too. DD really wants a backpack with wheels-anyone seen one?

Awwww, feel better soon. These summer bugs are a bear to contend with. Hope the girls are cooperating nicely for you in your weakened state :)
Li’l Empress is just starting to sit still for more than just Barney (we’re all glad to add some variety finally!). So, we were thrilled to see the stash of Kai Lan stuff at our local Target and started a b’day list for the grandmas right away.
Just a note: I did purchase one of the all cotton t’s and found that a 2T shrunk way more than I’d hoped. Next time, I’ll buy up one more. She’s a small 24 mo. right now and I thought the 2T would be fine till Sept. I am doubting that now.

It’s really strange my dd just refuses to watch Kai Lan and we have tried on more than several occassions. I thought she would love to watch it. Has anyone else’s child reacted this way?Jamie

DH is an Optician in a Canadian Walmart. They have a few pairs of super cute Kai-Lan glasses.
And since they are kids glasses, they are very reasonably priced.

The shirts do run really small. My friend bought Baby G one in a size 3t. Its a fitted style and it fits her in the shoulders and is just a little on the long side, she normally wears a gymboree 12-18 mos and weighs only 23 lbs.
G has the “happy” doll too, which she loves and sleeps with every night!

Anyone else out there starting to get butterflies in their stomach? I thought the butterflies only came with the rollercoaster of rumors, but they are swarming inside of me!!!

Butterflies every time I think about getting that phone call and that it will be me looking at a picture of our baby girl. When I look at all the other referrals over the past year my husband has been saying “I will get more excited and it will feel real when it is our baby”.
This will be a veryyyy long weekend and week (depending on when the referrals finally start coming in.

Jess loves Ni Hao Kai-lan. I bought her a pink dress and a red shirt with her on it. I’m so happy they finally have merchandise with her on it.

Target has a whole line of back to school supplies, from backpacks to notebooks, thermas etc…
