An agency is letting their families with a LID of March 22 know that they have been matched. This agency is not giving a possible cut-off date. Their next LID is a good ways off.

Happy for those on the 21st and 22nd but still selfishly hoping we reach the 23rd…or beyond.

Selfishly hoping they finish March. Yeah, right! I know ;-)
I’ve been so fearful that they would only do one day this month, that I’ll take two. I’d like three…or four…or 30 though.

Guess I’m getting good at this finally…I predicted that CCAA would only get through the 22nd. I know..they may not be finished yet but usually when RQ sees the rumors of actual dates (particularly if it’s just two days) it’s usually true. 9 more days to go. Maybe they’ll finish March by Decemeber?
Getting a little discouraged. Not sure if we will finish the race.
COngrats to all who will be seeing their little ones soon. Wish we had started this process 5 years ago instead of 3…

Congrats to all who will hear good news today or next week. For now i am off to the childresn hospital 1 hour away for my nine year old son to have his wrist operated on. I do hope when I return that there will be great news for all who are waiting.

First of all, everyone needs to take this first rumor as what it is… a first rumor.
Second of all, we all know it is a good possibility that they will only get through the 22nd. HOWEVER, that being said, if an agency didn’t have LIDs on the 23rd or 24th or 27th, then they would have no way of knowing what the cut off is, only that their folks logged in on the 22nd are likely in.
So please, let’s everyone take a breath and understand that just because one agency said their 22nd people are in, that in no way means that is the first rumor of a cut off.

Nope, not going to happen. I’m not going to calm down…not going to take a breath. I’m going to dance around my desk and scream for joy that the referrals are right around the corner and soon so many of you will see your baby’s face for the first time. I simply LOVE this time of the month!!!

You are the greatest, SCDELACRUZ!!!! And I admire your positive attitude and commend you for cheering those of us who made the cutoff this month even though you’re still a bit away. Of course I am elated that it is FINALLY our turn, after 3+ long years of waiting… (4 if you count when we started our paperwork) But you know, if it hadn’t been our turn this month, I would have been there dancing around your desk with you!! So let’s hold out for a little longer… keep our fingers crossed… and who knows… maybe we’ll hear that the CCAA did make it farther than the 22nd! Good luck to all and congratulations Class of 3/22/06!!!! :) And thanks to SCDELACRUZ for your good wishes!! It’ll be your turn soon… you’ll see!

You’re right, justwaiting!! I want to believe it’s going to be today… I’m so afraid to step away from the phone… but you’re right… it may not be today… but you know? That only means it’s going to be next week!! (breathe, breathe, breathe… inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale) It is going to be the LONGEST weekend… but by this time next week, things will be soooo very different. Congratulations justwaiting and all the other 3/21 and 3/22 families! (and I will still hope and pray for more days of referrals so more of you can join in on the excitement… fingers crossed)

Not wanting to be a downer here but I would take the ‘cut off could be the 26th’ with a HUGE grain of salt! The 26th is a Sunday and to the best of my knowledge CCAA has never ended a referral batch on a Sunday.

If you into the Forum and look under UK (Geographic rooms), you will see a post that says ‘9 refferals this month’. It did read like someone with March 26th was matched. Would someone else read it and confirm? If it was true then that would be incredible! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed! :)

MadisonChayse66 – the post you are referring to appears to be talking about the referrals from last month. It says “June” 26th. I understand that referrals in the UK are delivered to the APs often behind those in North America because of the way they are processed once they hit the UK – ie. it takes longer to get through the central government agency that deals with international adoption – the DCSF.

Congrats to all the families who have waited so long!!!
Kind of sad that a 6 day batch of referrals would be considered a miracle. When we received our first referral, it was part of a two month (60 day) batch. Now those are the kinds of miracles I like. Wish we could go back to those!

First off – prefacing this with I dont truly know what this means….
A referral announcement was placed in the March room just after midnight for someone with a LID of 03-21-06. Cant tell if this is a new referral or someone from the anomoly batch that received a referral a couple of weeks ago and is posting her exciting news now.
Did anyone else receive their referrals yesterday. How common is it for them to begin to arrive on a Saturday

Wow! She announced her referral with a lid date of the 21st. She said she received her referral on the 15th. She posted in the March lid room asking Kathy P to add her info to the stats stating that she had a lid of the 21st and received her referral on July 15th.
So…….where are all the other announcements???????? Hopefully phones will be ringing on Monday!

Just so others who are not part of the March group are in the loop……The person was with the Canadian agency that received referrals for their families with lids through the 23rd. Apparently she was with that agency but was skipped Her referral appeared on the 15th of July. That it what it appears like to me.

The Canadian agency got their refferals last time for the 21st and the 23rd ! They annouced it ,it hapened for real no joke ,no missed ,no skipped..I know b/c I am with this agency and they were very excited ! Things like this happen..Someone in our group LID May 2006 got their referral in June 2007 yep 2007! reason unkown ..for what reason no one would say ,who knows why things happen ..I will wait patiently…ya right……
