We just got our Travel Approval yesterday! I’ve been waiting for 3 1/2 years to get my blog on the Babies post! Wahoo! We are adopting a little girl from the waiting child program and will be traveling to China on August 5th for a Gotcha Day of August 10th. We were LID 2/24/06
We were finally matched with our angel on 12/25/08 – that is the date on the matching notice from the CCAA.
We were referred on 12/29/08 – a truly happy new year!
We were forever matched on 3/1/09 – one of the best days of my life.

To all the new families – my deepest and heartfelt congrats; Yes, the wait was so very painful, but once you get your child, so very worth it.

Hi everyone! We finally got the call today and a few pictures, still awaiting the fed ex package with all the info. I just finished my first attempt at doing a blog, it’s pretty basic, but the pictures are on there. Hard to believe I’m actually posting a blog and not just looking. She was born Jan 10th 2009, so just a little over 6 months. Tons of hair and cute as a button!
Congratulations everyone who has seen their daughter this week and stay strong to all those who are still waiting..it will happen!!
