It’s Wednesday night in China…
… and that means the CCAA is now closed for a week plus.
Three agencies have let their families know they have something coming, scheduled to arrive today. Another agency has something coming that is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
I so not see reports of referrals (or anything else) arriving on the European boards.
As of now, I haven’t seen any agencies report that the CCAA sent something out last night.
Many agencies are reporting that the CCAA will not send referrals until they return from their holiday. The reason the CCAA gives for this is that the person who signs off on them is out of the office and won’t return until then. However, a couple of years ago they made it so several people could sign off on them, and promised to make an effort to always have at least one of these people in the office so referrals would not be delayed. For a long time they stuck to that – are they changing that now?
At this point in time, I would recommend not getting your hopes up that today’s deliveries will be referrals. It is possible they are, but it’s certainly not a sure thing.
And finally, whatever the agencies found out last night, that’s likely the last we’ll know of anything until the CCAA returns. If anyone hears from your agency that they learned something last night – please, share.

I wish I had news to share. I hope someone does. But I am feeling like we are going to be waiting until mid October unfortunately. I do not understand the Why? I am sure I am not alone.

i know that rq posted that the c2a2′s holiday was from the 1st to the 8th. does that mean they are planning on working the 9th, or are they not back to work until the 12th?
so sorry for march families!
if referrals aren’t mailed until the 12th then they pretty much skipped a month. so the 29th really better be in or i’ll lose it.

Thanks a million to RQ for a magnificent job. Don’t know what we would have done over the past 3 years without you….
Don’t know what to think anymore, we are finally there ( our date is March 28 ) and we still don’t know when to expect a package.
Does it mean we could be travelling at Christmas time ?

Is it just me or does it seem like the PRC has a LOT of holidays?? Everytime I turn around it seems like they are closed for some festival or holiday or whatever… sorry, just in a crabby mood today and I am so sick of waiting on people…

i thought to myself “next month will tell us a lot. if they don’t send referrals until the middle of october – will they send them in early november or basically skip the month?”
then i realized – you know how many times i’ve thought – we’ve all thought – that?!? next month will tell us more?! pretty much every month i’ve been in this i think that. i mean it stands to reason the next month each month will tell us more but i seem to think it will tell us soooo much the next time around.
i’m so sick of thinking that!

Praying that these are referral packages as I have a couple of wonderful friends who will be ‘in’ this month! Last month when our referrals arrived they landed in NA prior to Europe. First calls began to be announced early in the afternoon. Praying this afternoon RQ puts up a Babies! post!!!

Is it ridiculous for me to think that MAYBE they sent out the referrals TODAY before they left? If remotely possible…I hope, I hope! :)

I feel for the march LIDers and all of us out here just WAITING. We too get down and out however I know that at the end of all of this we will see our beautiful daughters face. We have been trying to occupy ourselves with renovations and quality couples time. I also have been listening to the MILEY CYRUS’ the climb. This song started playing as I am going down the road at 60/ hr and I look at my windshield wiper and gee whats there a LADYBUG. The words to the climb are so true.!!!! I am praying for all of us new and soon to be parents out there.

I think if they were coming, they would have been here by now. It is almost one on the east coast. I would think some agency would have received their referrals by now if they were indeed on their way. This is so sad all they way around. So much for getting excited the 29th is most likely in. With the time between batches it doesn’t seem to help with the numbers at all. Big sigh…

My agency just announced that they had more children added to the SN list. Would this be something they received in a package or is this all electronic?

my large agency says the CCAA is officially on holiday until oct. 8 and “it appears the CCAA did not mail matches prior to leaving for their holiday.” they wish they had better news to share rather than this “very disappointing information.”

4 weeks late. 8 weeks between referrals. If the last ones were received 8-21 and these are received 10-14 or 10-15 (mailing them 10-12 or 10-13, reports are they are not back at work until 10-12) then that is 8 weeks between referrals.
Has it ever stretched out this long, rumor queen??

If they only get to the 29th and this does really represent two months, then these are actually fairly small batches. So sad. I was so sure we would actually get good news this month – instead it was skipped!

I guess you could call this FALSE LABOR! Labor of the heart that is. I am going to try and relax over the next two weeks. I need a mental and emotional break. I am trying to focus on the point we are next. In the big picture what is two weeks compared to 42 months. I can’t wait to move past this point. Have a good couple of weeks everyone! I hope to see you all on the Babies post next month!!!!!

I have been checking this site out for the past 2 years and decided to make my first post tonight. My LID is 3/28/06 and I want to scream right now! I just can’t take it anymore so I had my little “fit” today when we got confirmation that there were no referrals in site, then I dug up a website I saw on Rumor Queen a month or so ago and order my entire family some fun t-shirts to start wearing as soon as they get delivered to my house. They are so cute, they say “Worth The Wait” and “We’ll Be There Soon”. I feel a little better now because since this will be DD#2 I so know it is “Worth The Wait” but the wait is getting a bit loooong! Try to stay busy everyone Hang in there!!!!

I wish there was something I could say to ease the stress and pain of this latest added wait. I just remember (vaguely – see, time does heal) reading encouraging words when we had our delay and how it helped.
