R5 – Cut off Date March 31st
We’ve got multiple people from multiple agencies in multiple countries confirming that their agency is saying the CCAA internal box has changed to show the cut off date as March 31, 2006.
We also have multiple agencies who are expecting packages today. In light of this news, it’s looking a lot more like these packages could contain referrals. (That last sentence is speculation, not part of the R5. I think it’s pretty good speculation, but still, I should point out it isn’t a rumor.)

I just woke my DH to tell him the great news and we just cried tears of joy and relief (after 4 years of waiting) I still don’t believe it. Congrats to all families included. Thanks RQ for all you do. I’m really in a state of shock!

Woohoo! FINALLY through with March!!! We were LID 3/10/06 and have been home almost 4 months now with our Meili Grace. It’s about time the rest of my March LID room buddies had something to celebrate. Can’t wait to see those babies’ faces! Congrats everyone!….and clean your house and sleep now while you can. :)

today is my 8th wedding anniversary, and there is no better gift than to be NEXT! it’s like Christmas Eve for a month! enjoying the anticipation!

Hooray! Can’t wait to see the new babies and the new poll numbers. Let’s hope for a repeat of last year’s early December referral batch followed by a late December referral batch!
Funny how everything seems wonderful and hopeful when referrals arrive, even though it felt so bleak and hopeless last week. Please, CCAA, send referrals regularly, even in small batches, so that we won’t be afraid that you’re shutting down completely.

We woke up to a snow covered landscape and confirmation that today was referral day…my husband declared today a Christmas miracle.
Been waiting so long it hurts…can’t wait to see what the end of this day looks like!

Congrats to those March families who have finally made it to the front of the line, and will be seeing their babies faces very soon. The hardest part is that CCAA predicted that they would only complete to the end of Feb 06 last year, and March in 2009….does anyone know what the prediciton from CCAA for 2010 is?

wow, I am sad I was so right in my prediction that March would take one year to complete. My husband didn’t believe me , but he does now. He asked about 2010. This is only my OPINION.

YEAH!!! Congratulations March families! April is next….double YEAH! I never thought the day would actually get here when I could cross March 2006 off on my calendar. I can’t wait to see all the babies.
I do have a question…what month are these referrals from? Do they count as November referrals and we could expect some for December? Or are these December referrals and we won’t get anymore until January. Is it just anyones guess or is there anyway to know? I would absolutely LOVE for them to refer some families from April this year…what a Christmas present that would be!

At this rate, we will have our referral in 13 years! (our six year DD old could be a parent faster…lol)…Hopefully things speed up, or we will be dropping out..sigh.

Sigh…one more LID month down…only 12 more to go and perhaps 5 years :o( Not sure if I should rejoice or weep. RQ, I sure hope you are still going to be hanging around here with us 2007 folks? Augh, this time of the month is always bitter sweet. One step forward, but always feeling like we’re going backwards.
