When: Waiting Child Shared List

We began to see people reporting they had been matched off of the most recent waiting child list back on December 1st.

Looking at the numbers: The shortest time frame is 23 days, the longest is 41. The average is 34, the median is 34, and we see 34 and 41 two times.

This means the soonest we would expect to see the next list (or series of lists) would be Thursday, December 24, but my instincts tell me that seems a bit unlikely.

The latest we would expect to see them would be Monday, January 11 (and for the record, this latest list came on the very last day of our window from the last time I did this).

The most likely day (based on the averages) for matches to be announced from the next shared list would be Monday, January 4. But if the CCAA follows recent history then I think our expectations should be for the next matches to be announced between January 4 and 11.

Congrats to all who found their child on this list, or who were matched to a child on this list by their agency.
